“Business hotel by the shopping centre in Bristol with nice rooms”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 17, 2012

The Inn is basically on a car park by a shopping centre in the centre of Bristol, so the location is convenient not picturesque. But the room was nice, a good size with, modern, and with a good shower. Staff were friendly too.

I went for a more expensive hotel this time, and it was a great stay. Very modern and everything you could want from a hotel stay. Pros and cons:
Pros
Comfy bed
Flatscreen tv
Awesome buffet breakfast with an omlette and pancake chef
Free standing shower which was immense
Cons
My room had a smell of smoke even though I requested a non smoking room.
And that's about it

I would definitely stay here again without a doubt. I hope this review has been helpful!

We had a lovely stay in this hotel and enjoyed a couple of cocktails in the bar as it was pouring with rain outside. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The shower is one with the big round head pointing straight down but it flet a little like standing out in the rain. My only minor complaints would it be that our room had only one very narrow window to the far left of the room which made the room feel quite enclosed. The service in the bar was very friendly but the reception staff although helpful seemed to have a brisk almost fake friendliness as the fired through their script. Otherwise really enjoyed our stay.

I have stayed here twice now and being a Priority Club member I have received an upgraded room on both occasions.

The rooms are very modern and well kitted out and the breakfast has plenty of choice and is of good quality.

All staff at all times are very pleasant and the hotel is situated just across from Cabot Circus in a prime Bristol location.

Not the cheapest hotel in Bristol at £90 but very good value for the business traveller.

Stayed there for an evening due to bad weather as a stop-over on our way to Cornwall. Perfectly nice room, good size, very clean, and there was a fridge for us to put our roadtrip snacks in! We got a special deal and bought the breakfast buffet the next morning (£10 for 2, our total stay was £89 for a mammoth room and huge bathroom) which was good value and seemed popular with families. All in all, a decent place to stay, close to Bristol's main hub, night life, and museums (M-Shed is great and another good one for families). Also recommend taking a walk up to Clifton to see the suspension bridge at twilight, it's beautiful!

We have stayed here on a few occasions, we were lucky to have a deal on a superior room the first time but have always paid that bit more for one since as they are amazing. The location is fab, everything that you need is within walking distance. The staff are always very friendly and well trained, nothing is too much trouble. The room was very spacious with a kingsized bed and large sofa, perfect to take in the view if your up high enough, only downside is that the tv is hit and miss with channels, on the occasions we've stayed we've always had different channels and some you can only hear. The bathroom is spacious but the frosted glass doors can be a little unnerving. We will definetly go again and have reccomended it to many others.

Stopped for just the one night here to break up a drive to Cornwall and glad I did. Spotless hotel, great location, lovely clean room and great shower. In fact two showers! The staff were friendly and helpful and if you get a good deal I'd recommend it.
Downsides... Parking charge of £10 per day (though this is half the cost that non residents pay), and an expensive breakfast. £13.99, though it's £10 if you order and pay at check-in... Personally I'd take a look across the street at the Cabot Circus shopping centre, plenty of decent and cheap eateries to choose from there including a couple of cafes

Dear tomthetank67,

Thank you for taking the time to offer your feedback on Tripadvisor.

I am delighted to read that you loved your stay and I have shared your review with our team at the hotel.

Unfortunately we do have to charge for parking as the hotel shares the site with an NCP car park, but I am pleased that you were able to take advantage of the discounted rate of £10 per night which does offer 50% off the public charge.

If booking in advance we do offer a Bed & Breakfast rate which offers a substantial saving compared to purchasing breakfast separately at the hotel.

I trust you had a pleasant journey back to Cornwall and hope we can welcome you back to the hotel again in the near future.

Kind regards
