This hotel is excellent - we got an upgrade to a Superior Room as it was my birthday, lovely room overlooking the river, everything you could need (including an espresso machine!) and lovely bathroom. Breakfasts were very good, only tiny complaint is we had to eat in overspill restaurant at back of hotel on Saturday and Sunday mornings as nice restaurant overlooking the river was full - so no view but the food was exactly the same. Best thing about the hotel was the service, nothing was too much trouble and requests like more pillows and jug of milk were dealt with promptly and with pleasant smiles. Very central location in the city, were able to walk to any attractions we wanted to see in a few minutes. Very impressed, will definitely be returning!

Room Tip: Superior room well worth the extra - quite a lot of noise in the evenings in rooms facing the river...

I stayed for 6 nights at the Bristol Hotel and it was very likely. The location is perfect for going out and to reach the city centre. We got a room with a view to the harbour site without asking. Great! The hotel has a well-being flair, the room was clean like i never had that in the UK before and the stuff is very friendly. Good job!
That hotel is a perfect choice for a short or long stay also with its free parking and free wifi.
I am really happy about that choice!

I have stayed in a lot of hotels but I have to say that the Bristol Hotel has to be my favourite hotel I have stayed in here in the UK. Everything from the decor, parking, location, ambience, rooms and most importantly the staff! They are so friendly and made us feel at home. We will be back again and please keep up the good work!

All the very best!

Just had 5 great nights at The Bristol. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast choice. The secondary glazing kept the traffic noise to a minimum at the front of the hotel. The free parking tickets for the adjacent NCP car park were a bonus too. All in all we couldn't give a better recommendation than we'd definitely stay here again.

Loved every minute of this weekend city break. We requested a harbour view as this was our anniversary weekend and this was given without question. Plenty of vibrant bars and restaurants to suit all tastes within a stones throw . Ten mins walk from city centre . The best all you can eat restaurant za za bazaar right opposite!!

Hotel clean, very cosmopolitan . Breakfast lovely!

Double glazing is brilliant as keeps out the nightclub noise and the blackout curtains were very good also

Room Tip: We had a superior room on the 6th floor, easy access from free car park to our room

We enjoyed an overnight stay in the hotel, the staff were friendly, the room was of a good standard and the breakfast was good quality.
The hotel is located near restaurants and bars so very convenient.
Having use of a car park so close to the hotel is a plus point.
The only issue was a noisy lift and the hotel dealt with this complaint very efficiently and in a satisfactory manner.
We will book again when next staying in Bristol.

The Bristol Hotel is right in the centre - next to the canal and surrounded by wonderful restaurants, with a short walk to the town centre markets and shops. Free parking meant that we didn't have to worry about high parking charges. The rooms were nice, particularly the ones overlooking the canal however as we stayed in a Friday evening it was very noisy due to the busy bars in close proximity to the hotel.

We had a package which included dinner - the set menu was a little disappointing, particularly the chewy minute steak option: however the full menu options were absolutely delicious, though quite pricey. The duck option and risotto option were absolutely delicious - I would definitely recommend them!

Overall we loved Bristol town and would stay in The Bristol hotel again!
