Stayed here with my Girlfriend in May 2012, we had a good time and the hotel is beatifully located on the bank of the river.

We had a standard double room which was ok, maybe not quite to the standard of other quality hotels which I have stayed in. Issue is it is not soundproofed so you can hear the activity in the hallway. (Also no view in my standard room)

The bar is a real selling point and has a nice ambience about it, but all in all I think there are better bargains to be had in Bristol as prices are on the high side.

Room Tip: Maybe upgrade to a superior room as caught a sneak peak on the way down the corridor, they looked ni...

Dear P S,

Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel,

We appreciate your feedback and rest assured it will be used to make the hotel better.

It is great that you enjoyed our River lounge bar, I also note you mentioned it was pricey, just for next time, we have a "cafe Bar" also attached to the hotel aptly named Shore Cafe where the prices are in line with all Harbourside bars,

Sincerely,

We stayed after booking through Secret Escapes, used for the first time which I would highly recommend! The hotel is great and fantastic value. Being in trade myself I couldn't fault the room or service. Parking is complimentary which is great so you can come and go as you please. Perfect central location for a fantastic base, just a minute's walk from the bars and numerous restaurants. Really enjoyed our stay so thank you! The younger lady on reception with long brown hair is fantastic x

Went for the room only option which was ideal as Cafe Gusto outside was excellent! Comfortable, convenient room. Excellent free car parking facilities at NCP next door were really appreciated. Bed fairly comfortable, tea etc in room. Did not spend much time in, a good location to explore Harbour area.

We spent 2 nights here last week on a deal with Secret Escapes, being our second visit. We had a clean modern room overlooking the canal - a great view, though some noise in the late evening, early hours from the various restaurants and bars nearby if you stay on that side of the hotel. We had dinner one evening in The Grill and whilst it was busy with a sitting by a large party this did not detract from the overall ambience looking onto the water. The dinner food was a bit of surprise - it was truly excellent and with service to match. Breakfast was also very enjoyable. This hotel is also well located for an excellent stay in central Bristol and with very convenient parking (NCP) immediately adjoining the hotel. We will certainly return again!

First time to Bristol and stayed for just one night, super central location, minutes walk to the restaurants, bars & clubs. Hotel was very modern and clean. We went for a deluxe king room, spacious, lovely walk in shower, comfy beds and view across the harbour. Would definitely recommend for a weekend away. We chose the Passion Package, is worth the extra pennies for a romantic night. Bottle of Champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries! yum! We could hear a little music from the bars, but wouldn't stop me going back again. Good value for money.

This was my first time at the Bristol hotel as I usually chose the Marriot Royal. I like to be near Park Street and the harbourside. The hotel doesnt have a spa and pool but makes up for this with beautifully designed modern interior and great service. The cocktail bar is really chic and the restaurant was reasonably good, the food was good but not amazing but the service was excellent.
The rooms are not huge but are beautifully designed. There is a coffee machine but no tea if you are a tea drinker as I am.
I always judge a hotel on the toiletries and the Bristol hotel passed the test with lovely temple spa products.
I would definitely return to this hotel.

Dear Carol_thrav,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review,

It is pleasing to see you had an enjoyable stay, our cocktail bar and temple spa products being some of the highlights.

I am surprised to read you had no tea making facilities in the room, in all our bedrooms we provide such facilities in addition to the Nespresso machines in our deluxe rooms, however they are concealed in one of the presses, generally under the television.

We hope to see you back at the hotel in the future,

Sincerely,

Mark Payne
