The location is very good . Parking is in the NCP next to the hotel which is free for guests.
I'm not a fussy person ( will happily stay in a premier inn) and I can't complain at the price £126 , room breakfast and dinner , however im a little disappointed with this hotel.
Everything about it shouts 4* but it's let down on small details. My room 609 on the sixth floor was furnished with high quality furniture ( and coffee machine ) and first impressions were very good , however when you look a little closer it has it's faults. See photos.
The room was very small - in fact so small I couldnt work on my laptop at the desk. Nowhere to put my luggage , other than on the floor.
The bar area is nice and the Resturant looks very good. Again , it should have been an excellent dining experience , however I had to send my main course back as it was cold ( I never send food back !)
Perhaps my review seems a little harsh and I'm sure many people will have a good stay at this hotel, but for me this hotel needs a little fine tuning to warrant all of the stars.
Photos , indicate the small details which need rectifying .
I would stay here again ( not for business) but would like to see the general manager inspect ever room to rectify small problems to make this the excellent hotel that it should be.
