Description: Nestled at the top of Clifton Village, No. 4 is a real gem. Intimate, welcoming and proud to be fully licensed for wedding ceremonies. We pride ourselves on providing our guests with fantastic dining experiences in the classic setting of a Georgian town house. We are fully set up for meetings and conferences and our enclosed private garden at the rear of the venue is perfect in the summer months for Al fresco dining and BBQs / hog roasts. A great addition to a summer wedding or celebration.

We had a meal for 4 booked from a travelzoo voucher and dined on Tuesday eve.
The reception area is shared with the hotel above and we were welcomed immediately.
We were seated in the bar and had to ask after a while when our table would be ready, but were then shown straight through.
Out of the four of us, we managed 11 different courses and everyone was happy with everything, not a bad meal was put out. My brother particularly enjoyed the steak stir fry and we all loved the desserts. The 'extras' people have moaned about were not a big deal - £3-4 if you wanted sides is not an issue. My only complaint, if I were to push for one, is the toilet facilities are very poor. Downstairs and squashed between two of the hotel bedrooms [reminder not to book these!] Tiles were missing and there were holes in the plaster. A weekends repair work would leave this restaurant faultless.

went to this restaurant as we had a trazelzoo voucher have tried these offers before at other places and has been great value - but after going to this venue i have to say that this has been a great disapointment. The food was very lackluster and poor quality and the portions are very small . if you have any extras over and above your voucher they will charge you more than the item cost so watch your bill ,now for the very bad bit they then charge you a service charge on the whole bill not just on your extras so you end up paying twice.oh yes and the drinks are very expensive. so beware. would not go again and would not recommend

Like eating in someone's large dining room. Love the comfortable interior and laid back atmosphere. Like many others we had a travel zoo voucher and as it was a gift for Christmas basically a free meal.
I had rabbit as starter which I have never had before and found it rather nice. The presentation was good with nice sauce to accompany.
Had belly pork for main which was huge. No need for other side dishes which would have cost extra. My boyfriend had the fish which was small and needed the potatoes he ordered as a side. After he finished he still felt hungry!
Desert was gooseberry and toffee cheese cake. The gooseberrys still tasted frozen and the accompanying berries had the consistency of tinned fruit which I wouldn't expect. It's not too hard to slice up some berries from fresh.
All in all I've had better meals but as it was a gift I can't complain too much.

We had a great time, a massive party with free function rooms. The food was excellent and very well presented. I loved the shabby chic decoration and classy feeling. Service was good but could have been more professional or flexible when dealing with special requests food-wise.
