Very good value for money as the hotel is very clean and the rooms are lovely. Comfy bed and nice new sheets and towels. It felt more luxurious than many other radissons I´ve been to. The staff were nice and the location suited us very well. Next time we´re in town we will stay here again.

How a classy four star should be. Our room was very spacious with a massiive king size bed (two large singles together), which was very comfortable. Room had wardrobe, drawers, safe, fridge (with two complimentary bottles of water), large pretty desk/workstation, small armchair, usual tea/coffee etc, big bathroom with shower over bath, only grumble was the large but very shallow basin, toiletries supplied were very nice too. TV could have been bigger for the room size. Very clean and quiet room.
Iron and board also in room wardrobe, and a hairdryer. This hotel is opposite The Hippodrome, where we went for a lovely show. It is right near the harbour and close to many eateries along the harbourside and across the road just before the Hippodrome there is Denmark St with some restaurants including a fish & chip shop (eat in or takeaway). Location for Hippodrome or Colston Hall is fantastic.

We loved this hotel. It was conveniently located, and the rooms were clean and well kept. The hotel staff was very accommodating, and breezed us through the check-in process so we could get to our room quickly. The only draw-back was the elevator service. The elevators are very small, and took a long time. We found that if we pushed the up AND down button and then took whichever one came first, we spent less time waiting. We also would 'stage' one person on the main floor, then he/she would act as our elevator chauffer and come to the floor we needed.

We did find it quite difficult to find the hotel with the one way systems in Bristol but once there, we were looked after. They did park our car for us but you can park close by at the NCP car park cheaper. The rooms are nice and big, and my tip would be to ask for a room on the top floor that faces Bristol City centre as you get great view. Reception are very helpful and the breakfast is plentiful with lots of choice. We would definitely come back again.

Room Tip: To ask for room on top floor overlooking city centre.

We got a room on an advance deal. The room was enormous and had an amazing view of Bristol city centre. The bed was enormous and so comfortable! All the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Hotel is ideally located right in the middle of town. Wish we could have stayed longer! Would have been good value at twice the price.

The hotel has two modes week days for business travelers and on the weekend it switches to a place for football supporters, hens and buck nights and people wanting to party being in the center of Bristol.
So keep this in mind.
The rooms are well sounded proofed which helps.
The restaurant for breakfast was good and everything was fresh.
You can pay a extra 30 GBP per foom and not guest. For a better room location in the hotel, with bath, in room coffee machine, free mini bar of sorts (Coke and water) and free breakfast.
Parking was a problem here before now they offer a valet parking for 24 GBP per night or the other option is a NCP carpark about 300 meters which is about 18 / 20 GBP per 24 hours.
There is a drop off parking right out the front.
The gym is small and on the 1st floor the equipment is good & new.
On the weekends there is security personnel in the entrances for safety of guests and stopping the drunkenness following into the hotel.
You are spoilt for choice for restaurants and bars all within 10 minute walk of the hotel.
There is a small upermarket next door also.
A further 15 minute walk is the main shopping center selection called Broadmead, The Galleries, Cabot Circus in Bristol.
The lifts are so very slow it much quicker to take the stairs.

Room Tip: If you can afford the extra 30 GBP upgrade to a Business room or ask for a free upgrade; the room wi...

Stayed here last weekend in a party of six couples. The hotel is centrally situated and with walking distance for shopping, restaurants and nightlife. As it was my wife's birthday, I upgraded to a penthouse suite, which included breakfast and complementary minibar. The views from the top floor are stunning and the rooms are very clean. One slight downside is the lift service (two lifts) which at busy times can take a while to get to and from the seventeen floor!! The breakfast buffet is very good with a wide selection of hot and cold foods. All in all I would recommend this hotel and I will stay there again.
Tip for getting to and from airport: Taxi costs £22 - Airport bus to templemeads cost £7 per head. So if there are four people get a taxi!! plus you don't have to walk from the railway station to the hotel!
