Second time I've had afternoon tea. Always good service and a great atmosphere.

“Elegance on a budget”
Reviewed February 14, 2012

Much more welcoming than the retail store as the staff are charming and helpful. Good value set menu for lunch and evening and a really fabulous view over Cabot Circus from the window tables. Decor is very dramatic, not to my taste but well-executed. A real find in the rather predictable range of eateries in bristol's newest development

“Amazing value”
Reviewed February 13, 2012

In my view, the best food in Bristol with no exceptions, better than many Michelin-starred establishments here and elsewhere. Yet the fixed price dinner is just £20 for three courses, truly amazing value. The wine list is spectacular as is their advice about it: it is full of hidden gems that I have never thought of trying yet turned out ideal matches for the food. Despite comments below, the mark-up from their retail prices, about two-fold, is very reasonable. Many restaurants charge 3 or 4 times the retail price for their wines. On one of the many occasions I have dined here, the service got tangled up but normally it is immaculate.

“Fantastic”
Reviewed January 26, 2012

I have taken friends here on four separate occasions for the special offer 3 course menu. Every time the food was great and the service was an absolute joy - there is a 10% service charge added to the cost - I normally think its a bit of a cheek to just add a service charge but on each occasion I've been quite happy to pay it as the service was so attentive. The quantity of food is just right. I did think it may not be filling enough as the portions are not huge but after 3 courses I was nicely full. There are some lovely touches such as a choice of freshly baked breads. The atmosphere is lovely and the decor is really subtle. All in all a lovely experience.

“HAVE ALWAYS HAD GREAT EXPERIENCES HERE”
Reviewed January 25, 2012

Sorry about the caps above, been here several times, staff are always charming, great drinks knowledge and cocktails from the bar, has at times lacked atmosphere and the location can be taxing in the middle of Cabot circus. Will go again for sure and recommend you do to
