Lovely restaurant with views across the harbour, they have made clever use of the small space, making it light and modern. Can’t fault the roast (I had veggie option, friends enjoyed pork and beef), perfectly cooked, good portion size and fair price. Service good also - we weren’t rushed at all and they were very attentive.

Ate here yesterday for bottomless brunch. Harbour and Browns is a small, modern shipping container style restaurant with a nice view over the harbour and some outdoor seating too. Firstly the prosecco was very attentively topped up so off to a great start. Friendly service. The three course menu includes a few nibbly bits brought to table (delicious especially the arancini - amazing!), a choice of main courses and then dessert brought to table (donuts with sauces). I chose the duck and waffle which was absolutely divine. There was about half a dozen dishes to choose from which was nice. Would definitely recommend and return. Just a couple of things to note - as with all the restaurants here there are no toilets - you have to use the communal ones downstairs. (You have to walk outside). And service was added to the bill which was a bit disappointing, I would have happily left a tip but the spirit of it felt taken away with it being enforced. I’m sure most people tip good service ? Something to bear in mind.

This restaurant sits alongside a number of other establishments in converted containers which makes the whole experience quirky. It also means if not booked at busy times you will be unlikely to get in and that means you will miss out on one of the best meals I have had in ages.

The venue is intimate with probably no more than 20 seats inside with a few more outside. However as it was a chilly evening I was glad we were booked in for a table inside. The welcome was friendly and pleasant and water was immediately put in the table without asking (always a good sign from my perspective). The menu is short and sweet but caters for everyone's tastes from vegan to meateater. Suggest you start with olives and bread along with the baked camembert it's to die for. I had the vegan fish and chips which was light and filling whilst rest of group had mixture of duck, burgers and loaded fries. Every dish was taste and full of flavour.

If you can, save room for doughnuts and syringe sauce (you will understand the concept if you order it). Freshly cooked and very tasty. Dump the taxi back to hotel as will need to walk off the calories but worth it.

Overall 5 stars for this great little place on the harbourside from friendly staff, to goid service and tastey food. If in Bristol give it a try and will not be disappointed.
