“lovely for children and dogs alike”

Loads of outdoor space to keep children and dog walkers happy. plenty of walks to get lost round. great play area for the kids, especially hide and seek in the woods.

“Peaceful walks”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2013

There are many avenues to choose to walk, it is well worth walking up towards the castle on the top, telling the children to watch out for dragons, pixies and faeries are fun, as the area is more akin to fairy tales.

“hobbit houses”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2013

These beautifully unspoilt grade 1 listed cottages surrounding what would have been a village green 200 yrs ago are just magical and a must for all visitors to Bristol. Steeped in history and currently occupied by tennants of the national trust who manage the hamlet.

If you like old buildings that have never changed then this is for you. a camera is a must here. I love it every time I go there and visit and never get bored.

“Something and nothing”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2012

Blaise hamlet is a small set of cottages designed by the owner of the Blaise estate to be 'quaint'. They were provided to house his family servants when they retired. They are very scenic, but are in private ownership so all you can really do is look at them from the outside. Nice to see but not worth going out on a day trip for.
