I like older people and at 54 years I'm on my way there, but Warners advertising did not prepare me for what I got!
The house was very lovely and the grounds.
The food was below average. The bedrooms were tired and needed a re-furb. The bathroom was designed for the disabled. (My husband had to kneel down to shave.) There must have been 10-15 handles to hold on to.
No satellite TV, no room service.
To top it all the welcome manual begins with 2 sides A4 sheet on how to avoid catching NOROVIRUS!! There were also gel dispensers every 20 metres for you to use on your hands.
We spent the first night worrying about touching anything. Then we saw the dark staining at the bend in the toilet, then the cotton wool ball under the bed and finally a cobweb hanging off the ceiling!! We considered sleeping in the car, but the bedding seemed clean so we chanced it........and survived!
If you fancy a holiday camp for well-heeled old people, then this might be for you.......but no repeat for me, thanks!More
