“A peaceful stay Blue Rock with access to great private beaches”
Reviewed July 1, 2013 via mobile

We stayed at Blue Rock for a weekend and were pleasantly surprised! We had a nice large room on the 2nd floor overlooking the golf course. The room was clean and was the typical older motel style common on the Cape with 2 double beds, tv, coffee maker and mini fridge. We also had a small balcony with chairs which was a peaceful place to read before the others woke. What made our stay great was the excellent and friendly service at the front desk (thank you Kathy!) and the access to the beautiful beaches at the sister resorts. Although the weather was gloomy all weekend, it was still terrific to be out flying a kite or taking a walk by the sea along the long expanse of white sand. Conveniently, the beach resorts offer chaise lounges and towels. Although the sister resorts were right on the ocean which was beautiful, they were filled with families with small children so I by far preferred the peacefulness of the Blue Rock as the place to stay. The price of the room was very reasonable and it was great that they didn't impose a 3 night minimum as many Cape properties do this time of year.
