“A few days on Cape Cod in The Harbour House Inn”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2013

Hi , My wife and I went to Cape Cod for 4 days recently and had the best time driving to most of the beautiful towns and beaches on The Cape.We stayed in Hyannis in The Harbour House Inn which was comfortable and very clean as far as the rooms were concerned, and the staff could not have been nicer, but the breakfast poor.
We had a hire car so could travel at our ease to most of the scenic areas on the Cape. Great memories and we would hope to go back in the future.

“Beautiful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2013

We took a day from our Boston getaway to drive down to see Cape Cod for the first time. We had no real plans, except to see the ocean (we live in the Midwest, so I just really wanted some time on a beach while we were in Massachusetts!).

We chose Newcomb Hollow Beach in Wellfleet, and it was beautiful! Soft sand, great waves, and pretty dunes. Obviously, swimming in October was not a possibility, but we braved the cold to be able to wade.

Unfortunately, the government shutdown ruined our chance to visit Head of the Meadow Beach, but we parked nearby and walked for a while down that beach, too.

“Beautiful beaches and endless views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2013

Cape Cod National Seashore is a treasure. The dunes and the views are protected from development for ever. Visit Marconi Beach in South Wellfleet. Body surf in the frigid waters off Newcomb Hollow. Clean off with a dip into one of the many fresh water ponds. Be sure to visit the town center of Wellfleet as well as P'town which has a fabulous board walk out to Lands End through the white cedar marsh. Great bike riding, too. You can find dozens of great restaurants and great B and Bs or nice little motels. The Cape is at its best in the fall; fewer crowds and usually glorious weather.

“Simply Beautiful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2013

We recently returned from our first trip to the Cape Cod area. We traveled from Boston along Highway 3 to Highway 6 to Lands End or Provincetown. We stopped at the National Seashore on the both the south and north ends. The simply beauty of the dunes and its grasses, the beach and some historical buildings are part of the history that JFK sought to preserve for future generations. Fall is a great tome to visit as there really are no crowds and you can just relax. Worth a trip if you find yourself in the Cap Cod area.
