We dropped in to the King's Head two years ago after its refurbish and we were impressed with the cosy nature of the pub and the fine ales.
This year we booked for lunch and could not have been more impressed by the food, the atmosphere and, again, the quality of the beers.
The staff were all welcoming and helpful and the food was of a very high quality, especially the cheese soufflé starters, although my terrine ran it close.
Ended the day, playing darts and pool.
A proper pub, with great grub.
