This is a lovely hotel, very accessible to people with mobility problems. Food is excellent, best fish and chips in Munster, enough to share if you are a senior! Excellent, friendly service. Would highly recommend.

Dear Margaret L,

We appreciate you taking the time to write a review following your recent stay with us here at the Kilmurry Lodge Hotel. Your kind recommendation is greatly appreciated.

The fact that many of our amenities are at ground level, including rooms which have been specially adapted for those with disabilities, make us a popular choice for many people as they maintain their independence.

If you wish to return at any time and require any assistance with your accommodation requirements, I may be contacted direct on 061-331133 Ext. 0 or bernie@kilmurrylodge.com

Kind Regards,
Bernie O'Brien

My wife & I recently stayed at the Kilmurry Lodge in a disabled room. Our reservation was for 7 nights but we decided to check out after the first night. The room itself was bare & basic, it did not resemble the rooms advertised on their website. The walk-in shower in the bathroom was fine, the toilet was very low, but the sink was inadequate & practically unusable - see photo.

The buffet style breakfast was an experience in itself & not a good one! It was like having breakfast at a construction site cafeteria! The breakfast room was full of construction site workers wearing overalls, hi-viz jackets & dirty muddy boots. The Kilmurry Lodge omitted the fact that it opens the breakfast room to the public. The workmen were handling the breakfast utensils/ladles etc. in their dirty work gear, sitting on the chairs etc. It’s no wonder the hotel carpets appear so dirty. You would have to question the hygiene. It was certainly not what we were expecting on our holiday. Apparently the residents breakfast times have been altered now...!?

Fortunately we were able to secure a luxurious, spotlessly clean, more welcoming room at the nearby 4* Castletroy Park hotel, which totally exceeded our expectations for accommodation & breakfast. Well worth the extra €18 per night.

Stayed in the Kilmurry Lodge Hotel for a weekend break. Ample parking near the main entrance to reception. Check-in took about 3 minutes. Staff were efficient friendly and helpful at all times.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a kettle and hairdrier supplied. No fridge in the standard rooms. Good quality shower products and large fluffy bath towels. Also a TV with a good selection of English speaking channels.
In the public areas of the hotel there is plenty of comfortable seating available for reading the complimentary papers and just relaxing.
The bar /restaurant area is cosy and inviting. The menu has a large selection of foods. We had a great dining experience each time.
The hotel has easy access to the motorway and is also close to Limerick University campus.
Will definitely stay here again in the future

The staff are so very friendly and helpful. The bar is spacious and comfortable. The bar food is exceptional. Rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable. Great selection of food for breakfast. Especially the breads.
