“Superb holiday destination”
Reviewed April 17, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Cracking cottage in a lovely location. All the kit you would need in the kitchen etc. Huge selection of books, games and DVD,s. Log/coal fire in the living room with a good supply of fuel on hand. Plenty of space throughout the cottage. Plenty of walking/cycling available almost from the front door. Pub across the road does good food both lunch time and evening. No hesitation in recommending Burnside and we'll definitely be returning.

“Wonderful !”
Reviewed September 5, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

My family and I rented Burnside Cottage for a long weekend to celebrate my 50th birthday. We had an amazing time. A beautiful cottage, very clean and with everything to hand that was needed. Lively rural location with tea shop and pub within a minutes walk. Would highly recommend!

“Great base for the Dales. Lovely cottage with great pub 70 yards away”
Reviewed August 8, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Four of us (2 couples) stayed mid week for 3 days. Graeme (the owner) was very helpful and communicative pre-visit and just a phone-call away if we had any queries. Gunnerside is our favourite village in Swaledale as is it beautiful, has great walks nearby (eg Gunnerside Gill) and the pub and locals are very friendly. I would recommend the cottage to any of my friends. Its cosy and has been updated to a good standard with good facilities. Separate shower room and bathroom very handy.

“Fantastic cottage in the heart of Gunnerside, Swaledale”
Reviewed June 6, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Cozy cottage with modern feel, my kids loved the sound system and excellent wifi. Very warm and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine etc. Tastefully decorated bedrooms. Downstairs bedroom very cosy. Two bedrooms upstairs spacious. Excellent bathroom with bath and separate shower room, wc. In the heart of Guunerside, seconds from the pub! With great walks from the front door. Highly recommended and we hope to go back.

“Great cottage in an excellent location”
Reviewed April 3, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

A very cosy traditional cottage, great for a family of 4/5. Lovely walks from the door or a short drive away. The village pub is less than 100 metres away with great food.
