Restaurant has great food, great service and plenty of charm from the owners and staff. Difficult to know what else to ask for really! We went for Sunday lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. People like these need supporting (in these difficult financial times). Lots of local produce and local wines - lovely. No experience of hotel.

We have eaten many times at this Restaurant and have never been disappointed by the welcome from Estelle who works front of house (speaks good English) and Marc who is the Chef. His food is original and he presents the dishes very well using local ingredients producing modern French cooking of the highest order.
Although we have not stayed at the Hotel we have seen the rooms and can confirm that they look clean, bright modern and well appointed.
We know the area well and there is plenty to do if you like the outdoor life - Kayaking, swmming, fishing and hikiing. There are also interesting local markets, Museums and Cathedrals to see. The Chateau du Bosc, home of Toulouse Lautrec is a must and the newly refurbished Toulouse Lautrec museum in Albi is going to be a great place to go for a day trip out

We stayed here the night before we were due to fly home to Ireland from Rodez. Estelle and Marc were extremely welcoming. They gave us lots of information on places to visit in the area which was very helpful. Our room was lovely with the bonus of a little room where we could watch tv in the evening. We had lunch there on the terrace which was very good but the meal that we had in the evening was fabulous! Muret-le-Chateau is a quaint little village and it was very nice to walk around before or after dinner. I would definately stay there again.

We booked on the internet and I planned the trip to stay in Muret. Arrived in Muret to find we were 115 mile from Muret La Chateau. We therefore arrived late and I had not realised that the restaurant was closed on Wednesdays. A Key had been left for us but we turned up at the same time as the family and the Chef / Owner relayed through his wife who spoke very good English that he would knock us up a meal if we wished.

We sat in the well at the front of the property that you can see in the photo as the sun was still warm and thoroughly enjoyed the 'special' meal while the Chef/ Owner went off to play his weekly game of ping pong [Table Tennis].

The meal and wine were superb and the fact that our day ended so well after my disastrous errors was all down to a wonderful French family. The Owners sense of humour shone through whenever he appeared and you have to remember that this was his one day off.

A Beautiful place and a beautiful family.
