“Never disappointed”

I have been here a few times for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner and have loved it every time I have been there. The food is delicious and the portion size very generous, I love the decor and atmosphere inside and the garden in the summer is so lovely you could easily lose hours there as it's so relaxing.
I would recommend booking as it gets busy, not surprising though as it's so good!

“Splendid, delicious food.”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

Five of us on a walking holiday had an excellent evening meal here.
During the day it is a tearoom, and has an attractive outside seating area for the good weather.
The evening menu was interesting, the cooking was superb and the food was locally sourced, and the link with a delicatessen in Swanage was deliciously obvious in our meals. The two ladies serving us were very friendly and efficient. The house wine kept flowing, was good and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The supper rooms were well recommended to us locally by both of landladies at our bed and breakfast location. At the time (October) the supper rooms were only open Friday and Saturday evenings for dinner, and you have to book, but it is a definite restaurant to return to, and go out of the way to find, for when we are back in the area.

“What a Find”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

This delightful tea and supper room is in a small village close to the South West Coast Path and is fabulous. We only called in at coffee time but even then we were very impressed by the interior and food we did have. They use mismatched vintage china and play old time music on the radios. We sat in the rear garden which was delightful. The teacake was served with home made raspberry jam and was delicious. Having perused the lunch and evening menu we will definitely return when next in the area.
