This isn't the Ritz Carlton and it's not the most convenient to downtown, but you won't find a better deal on the island. For whatever reason, the GPS address won't load properly on the Garvin, so bear that in mind. It's also not easy to see from the road. Look for the White Spot Restaurant, and it's behind that, across the street from the McDonalds.
The hotel is located out in the country a bit - about 15 minutes north of Victoria. It is easy in and out, and the roads are great.
The hotel seems a bit on the expensive side, but a deal for the island. When I stayed there in early August, the place was maybe a third full. We rented two rooms, though we could have gotten by with just one.
Rooms have a great AC, are clean, have a decent shower, are in overall good condition, and well maintained, though the wear is very evident. I think the owners care about their hotel. When I booked the room, no CC number was required and so I asked for a confirmation number. She just said Flo was here name and to use that. Free WIFI hotspot and it works very well.
There are no ammenities to the room. No coffee pot, micro or fridge, No laundry here, but go kiddie corner behind the Shell gas station and there is a nice laundrey there. Triple size washers are $3 CND and quarter increments on the dryer.
Beds are very comfortable, no noise anywhere, and we were just left alone. I will be back and would recommend.
