My husband and I visited in early June. It was not crowded and we had plenty of time to see everything in a couple of hours. We were about two weeks early to see the roses in bloom but we were not disappointed. The blue poppies were blooming along with peonies, and other cool season flowers. Each garden has a theme and each garden in like a separate room. We could have spent hours there in awe of the beauty. Don't miss this attraction. Very nice gift shop with reasonable prices. The two main restaurants were not open in early June but the sandwiches in the snack bar were delicious. To see the thousands of roses in bloom, go a couple of weeks later in June.
