We enjoyed a great selection of dishes...the green salad along with a fresh calamari appetizer were more than enought for 4 people to share..our waitress was gracious and helpful...The special was a seafood bake with salmon, shrimp, halibut..very fresh. the veal was generous and tender..the cranberry merlot pork chop was very tasty ..and their signature west coast seafood bake had shrimp, prawns, halibut, mussels and oysters in a flavorful broth..the vegetables were fresh, varied and perfectly cooked...dinner for four with cocktails and wine and appetizers was $150 plus tax and tip...very reasonable for such a fine meal...you,ll share the setting with fine diners and families with children ordering burgers alike...but u can't beat the view or the food!

We (family of five, three teens) came in off a late ferry and starving; I think they'd actually closed, but our waitress was willing to seat us anyway and acted just as welcoming as if our arrival had been timely. We had an absolutely amazing meal - the Thai soup was memorable but we couldn't get the recipe:-) and all the food was perfectly prepared and delicious. The setting was beautiful at sundown, the restaurant clean and pleasant - refreshing after traveling all day. Our waitress, a classy woman who'd done quite a bit of traveling herself, gave some great recommendations we later did and enjoyed. Later we met the chef, enjoyed that too. We found this place by accident as we were traveling by on the road and saw the sign. So glad we stopped, and would highly recommend this place; we're accustomed to pretty wonderful high-end restaurants in the Seattle area, and this was an excellent meal right up there with the best.

Great food by the sea in a classy setting with live music. If you want a romantic getaway, a cozy cabin is on the bluff below the restaraunt.

we waited well over an hour for our meals to be brought out one at a time, most of them cold. By the time the first person was finished eating, the last person was just getting their meal.only 6 of us. Was never asked if we wanted more drinks, coffee , or water. Found this place very overpriced and poor food quality . We would not go back there.

We recently went as a group of 6 for our first visit to this restaurant. It has a beautiful setting and the food was, overall, very good. We started with appetizers to share: the fried zucchini sticks and jalapeno cheese were done perfectly as were the mushroom caps with shrimp. A great start to the meal!

However, after the appetizers were eaten and the plates were cleared, we never saw our waitress again until dinner was served-almost an hour later. By that time our drinks had been drunk without an offer of another round. Even our water glasses had been drained and not refilled.

Everyone enjoyed their dinner: very tasty and great presentation all around. The group had a variety of dishes including wild salmon, veal, fish and chips and even a vegetarian meal so there is plenty of choice. One of the group had the lemon veal and did find the lemon taste to be a bit overwhelming-so be prepared, it is not a subtle taste. There were also some apparent 'timing' issues coming out of the kitchen as some of the food on certain plates was piping hot and, on the same plates, other food was almost cold.

The cost per person before taxes was about $35 but that includes appetizers, 2 half litres of wine, 1 beer, 1 cocktail, 2 desserts, 4 decaf coffees and 2 teas. Not an outrageous amount so you get good value for your money but you had better be prepared to wait for your meals.
