Everything exceeded expectations during our recent stay. The coffee and to go breakfast was very good. Our hosts also had very good recommendations for eating out in Port Hardy. We highly recommend staying here.

The owners received us with tea when we arrived. They were very enthusiast and interested in our trip. The room we got was very very nice. Big bathroom with good shower.

The bedroom was huge and free wifi in the house.

Because we had to sail very early (5:30) the owners prepared us a breakfast to go, yoghurt coffee, sandwiches boiled eggs and fruit. we only stayed for 1 night but will recommend this place to others. nice ocean very, good sleep and very helpful people.

During one of my first business trips to this quaint town of Port Hardy, I stumbled across this beautiful B place with the gorgeous ocean view. It was an accidental discovery, and I was extremely pleased with the tastefully appointed rooms. The rooms, linens were spotless clean, and I truly admire the hosts attention to detail. The hosts Jerry Beverly is gracious, attentive and great conversationalists. The breakfast spread ranged from cereals, milk, fresh fruits, local salmon, banana bread, egg casserole and freshly brewed coffee. I was there for two nights , and the next day was again welcomed with hot waffles and the big spread. This was my first visit to Port Hardy, and the hosts made some great recommendations for sight-seeing, restaurants, etc. It was indeed a memorable trip, and I would highly recommend this place for staying at Port Hardy. They are both passionate about what they do and thrive to provide the best customer satisfaction. This experience was so memorable, that the next time I was in Port Hardy after a couple of weeks… I stayed with them again! I am sure and confident that anyone who stays with them once- will always be back for more. Thanks to Beverly Jerry for this experience and you both are truly inspiring.

This is a beautiful property with exceptionally clean rooms and above average hospitality. Just a short walk into town and also to a nice walking trail along the beach there are also beautiful ocean views from the yard as well. It's very quiet as it sits tucked away at the end of a residential area and I was very pleased with the accommodations. Both hosts went out of their way to be helpful and courteous and give great tips for things to see and do around the area.

Our gracious hosts, Beverly and Gerry Reed, made us feel right at home. Breakfast consisted of orange juice, tea and coffee to start, a big bowl of fresh fruit and-yogurt and scrumptious Belgian waffles with maple syrup and home made apple cinnamon syrup . The Reeds were most helpful in suggesting the best places for sightseeing on day 1. (Don't miss the Whale Museum in Telegraph Cove which was amazing). Our huge room had a view of the ocean, a desk and sitting area, 2 large, comfy queen beds with nice linens and a nice private 3 piece bathroom. We only had 2 nights before catching the early ferry to Prince Rupert on day 2. Beverly and Gerry were up at 5 am to make us coffee and tea and send us on our way with a very satisfying picnic breakfast for the ferry. We would definitely recommend this lovely B & B.

From the moment my wife and I first stepped into the Thyme Room at the Oceanview B&B in Port Hardy, we knew that the room exceeded the expectations we had formed on the basis of a picture at the B&B's website. What struck us immediately was the size of the room. It is furnished tastefully and spacious enough for two queen-sized beds, an ensuite bathroom, with plenty of space left over, enough for a small couch and chair, a good-sized TV, and a nook facing the garden with a small table, where I set up my laptop. The room is bright, cheerful and pristine in its cleanliness. The owners of the B&B, Beverly and Jerry Reed, clearly paid a lot of attention to detail in making the room comfortable for guests. The beds were comfortable, the pillows plentiful, the duvets immaculate, and someone had even ironed the pillowcases! (Thanks Beverly! )

We poked our noses in the two other rooms and they too were clean and nicely decorated - one with its bathroom across the hall, and the other with its bathroom down the stairs. They were of a fair size with queen beds - but the Thyme room has double the space, particularly nice if you are spending more than one night at the B&B as we did.

Breakfast was a veritable feast, with fruit, yogurt, homemade granola, fresh scones and an egg soufflé one day, and perfect waffles - with homemade apple syrup- as a main course the next. Our hosts were amiable and very helpful in directing us to the best restaurants (Guido's for lunch, Tudai Japanese restaurant for dinner) and the sights of Port Hardy, a town in northern Vancouver Island that is just beginning to realize its potential as a tourist destination

Room Tip: The Thyme Room is the biggest and best of the rooms (but the other two rooms, while smaller, are nic...

We arrived late at night after taking the ferry from Prince Rupert to Port Hardy at Oceanview B&B, where Beverly and Jerry have welcomed us together. From the ferry port, the house is very easy to find. Our room (Thyme room) was very great and very clean and included private bathroom and 2 huge double beds. The breakfast on the next morning was the highlight of our B&B stays during our roundtrip. Coffee, juice, different types of bread, salmon, cheese, meat, marmelade, butter, homemade egg casserole, etc. Beverly and Jerry are very friendly and helpful hosts. They organized our whale watching tour @Stubbs, Telegraph Cove, which was another highlight of our roundtrip. Oceanview B&B is very highly recommendable. If we take another roundtrip to B.C. / Vancouver Island we would love to return to this B&B.
