Ecoscape Cabins
Certificate of Excellence

The hosts are great people who are very helpful and friendly. The cabin was very modern, especially the bathroom was sheer luxury. However, some things were missing. For example, there were no real cupboards for those who want to stay longer. And if you want to spend an evening in front of the TV, there is just one armchair. Compared to other B&Bs in more vibrant towns, the ecoscape cabins were a little pricy. These were the downsides, but on the other hand, the project itself is well worthwile being supported. Everything is natural yet modern and tasteful.

I spent two nights at Ecoscape in the middle of June and it was great. We were travelling from Toronto and could not believe how quiet the place was. The cabins are really cool looking and they have the most comfortable beds. Dan and Donna are two of the nicest people that you will ever meet, they were made to have a vacation place like Ecoscape. They were always available to answer any questions and were extremely knowledgeable about the area, ask them about the memorial site. It is a bit of a hike though. I do hope to go back again someday and would highly recommend it to anyone. I showed pictures of the cabins to others during my vacation and told them to check it out if they are ever in Port Hardy. Sorry for the long review.

Donna and Dan have created very comfortable and very green cabin spaces. Recommend that you stay for at least 2 nights to fully enjoy the leisurely ambiance and sites in and about Port Hardy.

We came for a family gathering and had a great time. The cabins were all clean, modern, spacious and the beds were cozy. The owners made our stay welcome and were over the top gracious hosts. The eagles and birds we saw were well worth the trip. This is our second stay and if we're lucky enough to get a reservation next time, we'd definitly come back!

Right from the time you drive in, to the completion of the stay...an excellent relaxing environment. You can see the craftsmanship and the time invested into making the cabins feel like home, and the environment is very hospitable. I would DEFINITELY recommend these cabins to anyone staying in the Port Hardy area....WAY better than staying in a hotel...I didn't want to leave! And believe the photos on the website...some websites "touch up" their photos, or had them taken years ago...but with these...they really look as good as they do on the net!
