What a great tea room. The best afternoon tea room I have visited. Not only can you choose the sandwiches which are served with fresh leaves but they let us choose our cake. So we had a personalised afternoon tea for 2. Great prices and staff went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed things. The place was spotless and china lovely. Toilets were so clean it was a real pleasure. Lovely views nothing to improve!

Visited with my partner yesterday, we really loved the whole wonderful 'feeling' it gave us. Helping us recharge our batteries! The precious ancient history lineage, wonderful original home crafts, local butchers, the beautiful ancient church, the wonderful cafe, delicious food served with special care and attention, a rare enchanting place.

One of the unsung heroes of English country houses. Well worth a visit to this historic old house. Full of history and the guides do a fine job in imparting tales of yore.

Loved the village! Hall is beautiful and a real treat to visit. Great tea rooms in the village, and a lovely atmosphere. Would recommend particularly in the warmer months.

Great visit, done as a small guided tour, only 4 couples and a very knowledgable guide. Huge house and you only get to see a small part but you will not be disappointed. We were greeted by Sir Richard himself who welcomed us to his home. Some rooms had log fires burning. Good garden to looks round with a rose garden, in bloom, in December!
