We visited Chez Larbi for two nights after searching for a good quality hotel in the Atlas Mountains. We tried Seti Fatma, but there really isn't anywhere worth staying. Chez Larbi is stunning, with newly renovated and beautifully decorated rooms. The host Larbi is incredibly helpful, and when we mentioned that we were on our honeymoon, we were instantly whisked off to the junior suite with no extra charge. Both nights we enjoyed delicious healthy food and lovely wines and beers. It is possible to take a bus from outside the hotel to Seti Fatma for just 5 dihrams each (50p). We then just walked to the waterfalls on our own without having to pay a guide, we could then spend as long as we liked at the waterfalls as the guides give you just 5 to 10 minutes and then hustle you back down the craggy mountain to buy souvenirs!
Larbi also arranged a taxi to take us back to Marrakech, this cost just 200 dhs (£20), half the amount that the trip up there cost us. On the whole this hotel may seem a little pricey for the area, but it really is a beautiful, clean paradise where no other hotels compare. An incredibly relaxing place to stay. Thank you.More
