“Amazing adventure for teens”
Reviewed January 14, 2014

I took my 16 year old girls to wild cave adventures and they absolutely loved it, it was such an amazing thing for them to be outside, they had the time of their lives, the tour is so much fun and the girls loved the adventure side to it, rather than being a huge education group, it was a personalized fun activity directed to specifically to their sense of fun and adventure. Both girls can't wait to do it again. Thank you for giving my girls a look into something amazing that they don't have to " log in" to see, they came out of the cave dirty, muddy and with the biggest smiles I have seen on them in a long time. Will definatly highly recommend it, so rare to find things that excite teens, this one is a winner.

“Real cave experience”
Reviewed January 9, 2014

There are no facilities at the cave which adds to the authenticy. The tour is amazing and you experience tight routes that you will never have on a more commercial tours. My son enjoyed being 50 m underground, with the cool ambient conditions. A must for nature and earth lovers.

“Excellent start to caving”
Reviewed December 19, 2013

If you want to experience caving with a hard hat, headlamp and getting your overalls covered in dirt, the Bat Cave with Wild Cave Adventures is perfect. Our guide explained that it gauges how well you could handle a cave environment: Bat Cave is not all that challenging, but still gives a good mix of the caving experience. You crawl down a few tunnels, squeeze through a couple of narrow corridors, and navigate a few steep slopes. It takes you into the belly of the system, along the way learning all kinds of things about this alien world.

I should add that this was far less claustrophobic than I imagined. The trail we followed was actually quite spacious. Unless you can't stand being even in an elevator, this shouldn't be a problem (though it has a few exciting squeezes)..

Details:
The full caving experience took about 1.5 hours + 30 mins prep. All the gear is provided. Take something to drink in a cooler and store it in the car - you'll want it afterwards. You will probably want to get to a shower afterwards - it's not all that dirty, but you move a lot. Don't take a camera with moving parts - the dust can be bad for such equipment. The trip accommodates small children, but if you have problems moving - for example, climbing a ladder - this might not be a practical experience.
