“The 1-2-3's of caving”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

Caving at this level was always something we wanted to do, but didn't quite know how to go about it.

Niel (the first guide), made us feel right at home and very confident in our ability as cave novices as he took us through the procedure of navigating a cave for the first time.

After completing the "Bat Cave" a group of 3 including myself were very eager to progress to the more intermediate caves.

-And Swartkrantz was certainly no disappointment.

I loved how helpful Sandy and Neil were with conveying the level of skill needed to complete the cave as well as their quick response to get the expedition on its feet.

They were fantastic to work with and we cannot wait to start Westminister.

“A journey to the centre of the earth”

Did the bat cave as our first trip. Was insightful and not to strenuous on the body. A good beginners trip. Next time we'll tackle the bigger caves.

We had such a great time down there and the guide was excellent and full of interesting information about the geology of the cave. Definitely want to go again on another excursion into the depths of the earth.

“Awesome adventure for boys party”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

What a hidden gem - we booked a cave tour for my son's 11th birthday party. What an amazing experience. Everything was so well organised and the trip itself was brilliant. Dawie was great - managing to make the trip informative but exciting enough that 8 very busy boys were totally engaged. He managed to keep them safe but give them the experience of being totally adventurous and brave.

It's not a trip for the faint hearted - there are lots of tight tunnels to get through and it ends in a rope padder climb out of the cave.

I would recommend this for anyone wanting to organise a really adventurous day out.

“Bat cave”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

An amazing experience! Niel the guide was highly knowledgeable and let us explore some holes off the normal path. It's full of ups and downs, crawling on your hands and knees as well as on your back. It's probably not the best for those who are claustrophobic and too overweight.
