“Magnifique! Activities Galore in a Picture Postcard Setting”
Reviewed September 22, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

This ticked so many boxes, it's hard to know where to begin! If you like outdoor activities, this is the perfect spot. My daughter and I enjoyed fabulous walks, of which there are many, at differing ability levels. My husband climbed the Cols of Hautecam, l'Aubisque, Soulor and Tourmalet, all ridden from the door of the apartment! Our daughter also took off paragliding and if our son had been with us, he'd have enjoyed the kayaking, not to mention the white water rafting. I think we'll have to try out the cross-country skiing one winter too. Of course we also did the tourist sites of Lourdes, visited the local market, had fabulous lunches and highly recommend the Grottes de Betharram. All that aside, the apartment was set in a spectacular, picturesque location, our hosts Suzanne and Simon couldn't do enough for us. They'll sort your baguettes for breakfast, make any arrangements for local activities and provide local maps for suggested walks and cycle routes. The apartment was pristine, really well equipped not to mention the welcome pack. Tired bodies were soothed by a dip in the hot tub and there's a sauna too. All in all, a perfect holiday which we highly recommend.

“Superb views and very helpful owners”
Reviewed July 12, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We stayed for one glorious week in this one bed apartment. The hosts could not have been more helpful and welcoming and the evening hot tub visit overlooking the mountains was just out of this world. Fresh bread & croissants delivered to our door each morning and all the help we could want to make our holiday as enjoyable as possible. The apartment has all you need and we liked the fact that there was a bathroom, toilet and bedroom with balcony upstairs and the lounge, kitchen area and sun terrace downstairs. We would definitely visit again!

“Great Location; Great Hosts; Great Property”
Reviewed June 12, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We stayed in the l"Aubisque apartment which has a slightly different arrangement than Le Soulor including windows on the side. It is the apartment on the right in the photo. It was well equipped including essentials (paper towels, toilet paper, even coffee & tea). We were able to hike from the property as well as several locations in the area. The view from the balcony was outstanding. The host buys bread on order daily and delivers it to your doorstep. We were also able to buy fresh eggs from them (she provided a rainbow of colors from her many birds).

The wood heated hot tub is very nice and located to take advantage of the views. We usually ended with a quick sauna which is also very clean and even has a window. Both hosts speak great English and were able to help us with local hiking. They had very detailed maps of the area which I especially liked when we walked. Of course this is the Pyrenees and everything requires an uphill walk before the downhill!
