We stayed at the Deluxe Cabin (cabin #1). The cabin was spotless and provided everything that the 2 of us could have wanted + more: a comfy bed, 4-piece bathroom, spacious kitchen with many appliances, and a living room with fireplace and satellite TV. The attached private deck with BBQ was great too as it provided a great view of the lake. Considering the rental price ($125/night) we were very happy with our accommodation.
There are hiking trails nearby. There aren't markers or indicators that we were aware of, but our two hour hike saw quite a few trail paths and a bit of wildlife.
The lake was very peaceful and quiet.
Candy was a wonderful host. She was very welcoming and accommodating.
We stayed her in mid-May while the lake was still partially frozen. Cant wai to come back later in the summer.

After reading the reviews of the other two posters here we booked The Hideaway which as described had a very private firepit and offered a view of the lake from the cabin and the deck. The cabin was perfect for our needs, just two buddies doing a some fishing for two nights. It had a double bed and a fold out couch. Fridge, stove, Bbq all there and in great shape. Remember bedding, dish soap and dish towels, other than that everything you need is there. Lake is magnificent, don't worry if you are feeling like you must be lost because you can't see any sign of a lake, its down below the road line and you don't see a thing til you come thru the trees, but when you come thru the trees you are in for a treat. The fishing was excellent and all that is needed is to ask someone where the good spots are and they are more than willing to help out. In six hours we caught 7 fish, one of which was a nice 3-4 pound walleye (pickerel) which was the only one we kept using the catch and release method with the rest. A little store with the necessities is available as are showers (bring loonies). As for the managment I could not have hoped for better service, both Brian & Candy are bar none the best customer service people I have had the pleasure to deal with in a long long time. Very pleasant, and willing to help with anything you need. I won't go into detail of all the little extras they did for us so as not to make it expected by all but it was the little extras that will keep us coming back. Truly fantastic people!!! If you are looking for quiet, beautiful, back to nature experience with the modern day necessities this is the place to go. If you do not enjoy your stay it is your own fault cause this place does not lack a thing.
Except proper signage to the fish cleaning station, right Brian?????????????? ;)

Room Tip: All the cabins seemed great, the deluxe cabin (with shower) is down on the water and does not offer...

Wow! I am not sure that a place like this exists anywhere else!!! It is the perfect summer gettaway for fishing, boating, swimming and relaxing. I caught 32 fish in a week...the owners are really great people who accomodate you and the prices of EVERYTHING are more than reasonable. We rented the pontoon boat and enjoyed the whole afternoon fishing and swimming in our own little spot on the lake. The stars are incredible!! I will be back!

We stayed at the deluxe cabin on the lake and we loved it! It was $150 a night for a cabin that could have slept 8 peopleand had a full bath and a wood-burning stone fireplace. It was gorgeous. The deck was huge and we loved sitting out there all night looking at the billion stars you can see there. The fishing was great and my hubby caught 8 fish!

The owners are so friendly and welcoming, you'll feel like their long-lost family. The concession sells everything from canned goods, to fishing lures to ice cream and-thank goodness- sunscreen!

The beach was clean and sandy, the docks were sturdy and perfect for sitting and reading a book on and the horseshoe pits and beach volleyball courts were so fun to play on.

There were different cabins there that were smaller, some were more private, some were cheaper. That said, we loved ours! It was called Lakefront Landing. Next time I might stay at The hideaway, though, a log cabin with a really private deck and firepit.
