I stay here whenever I work close by.
This is an almost new Inn, in a beautiful setting on Lake Ainslie.

The rooms are large to massive, some have fireplaces. The beds are the best quality, the rooms are tasteful. never a problem. The building uses the latest technology and is warm in winter, stays cool in summer. No noisy air conditioners.
Food is fabulous. Elizabeth McPhee is a superb cook. Breakfast is good, evening meals (by prior arrangement) range from good fresh food well cooked to gourmet productions. Prices are reasonable.
The Tulloch Inn is the best accomodation in the area. I have stayed in the area in places with equal or more stars that don't come close. This is the best quality you will find anywhere.
Call ahead and get exact instructions. It is a mile down its own gravel raod or use Google Earth. A hidden gem.

This Bed and Breakfast would be worth a special trip to Cape Breton Is! Relatively new inn is airey, clean, beautiful and secluded. Elizabeth and Keith MacPhee, gracious and personable hosts, are, by heritage, part of the rich history of the area and it's sweet flavor. You must look them up if you do Cabot Trail. Far and away the best place we stayed on the island. Also was just down the road from Mabou's Red Shoe Pub and it excellent food. Both definitly highlights of our Thirtieth Anniversary bike trip. We will be back.
