This links golf course will set your heart soaring. Beauutiful seacoast vistas and sea breezes enhance a truly unique golfing experience. Siituated in the very scottish village of Inverness along the coast of the Cape Breton Highlands, this is as close to golfing at St. Andrews Scotland as likely to be found in North America. Treat yourself.

We were in the area for Celtic Colours. Tommy Cat's was closing for the season, and they said "you could try the golf course". What a pleasant surprise! They have a terrific wine list, interesting starters and entrees, delicious desserts, and attentive service. You could not ask for more. The dining room is upstairs in the pro shop. It has a beautiful view of the golf course and the water. The property has been open only since July 2011, and few people seem to know about it yet. The other restaurants in town tend to be smaller, casual places. I think this place will be mobbed once more people discover it. Not cheap, but highly recommended and worth a drive from Mabou or other nearby spots.
