“So good”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 20, 2013

We stopped here for one night en-route to Cornwall and could not fault the place. We were made to feel so at home right from the moment we arrived. The feel of the rooms is very homely and comfortable. Breakfast was great and its on the A303 which made continuing our trip that little bit easier. Only draw back is the present owners are moving later this year (as it currently stands) which is a shame as we would def stay again and recommend to anyone to do the same.

Loved it.

I stayed at this typical B&B with my family at the end of August. It was everything i expected, maybe more! I want to thank the owners, Catherine and Bill, who made us feel at home. Their house is very nice and every detail shows that they care a lot about their guests. There is a good perfume all around, with flowers in the bathroom, too, the soaps are incredibly nice. They are 5 minutes' driving from stonehenge, in the countryside, in the middle of nothing...but this was exactly what we wanted!

Came for an overnight stay and received a very warm welcome from Catherine. We were given good advice on somewhere to eat (the boot inn) where we were not disappointed with the delicious food. Had a great nights sleep and woke up to have a beautifully cooked breakfast. Also a lot of thought has gone into the little touches that made our stay even better.

My wife and our children and a friend's child were supposed to stay at the Scotland Lodge Farm but had an accident in France and missed the daytime ferry. Catherine Lockwood was very understanding about the situation and could not have been more helpful.

My son and i stayed at Scotland Lodge Farm this Easter. Catherine and Bill go out of their way to welcome you into their cosy B and B with Tea and Biscuits or arrival which is welcome after a long journey. The room was clean with plenty of wardrobe space, scenic views and the most comfortable beds ever. They offered to put up an extra bed for my son, they have a collection of games and DVD's to keep children entertained and the choice and quality of food is fantastic. If you are new to the area they have information on local attractions and places to eat. We stayed for three nights and met with other guests over Beakfast which made for a friendly and enriching experiance. I overpacked as everything you need is there including hot drink facilities in rooms with biscuits and fresh fruit and water, towels, flannels and bath products , hairdrier and evn help me with a phone charger as i forgot mine. Highly recommended look forward to visiting again in the future.

Room Tip: Only has 3 rooms , two downstairs and One upstairs all have bathroom facilities and are warm and com...

I stayed here last night with my partner and loved it. The location is brilliant, right near stone henge, on a good day you could walk there, and alsO near Salisbury. The owners were lovely, very welcoming, and helpful. We were served tea and biscuits on arrival. Our room was very clean and spacious and had lovely views. The bed was so comfy I slept so well. The local village had an excellent pub to eat in and some lovely walks. We had a great breakfast this morning which would cater for any taste.
All in all can't fault it!
