I had the pleasure of visiting Langara Island Lodge for the past 4 years. The last trip was with family and friends, just 2 weeks ago.
The experience at this lodge is absolutely amazing. The staff is very attentive to the every needs of the clients and the guides are the best, bar none, of all guides I have encountered. Not only their fishing skills, but also their dedication to the fishing experience for their guests.
I travel lots and this remains one of the highlights of any trips ever taken.
Not only the fishing but also the wildlife you will encounter.
Humpback whale, killer whales, dolphins, bald eagle ( one chased and caught a crane about 50 feet away from us). Deer, bear and the rush- chinook, coho, chum, sockeye and pink salmon all were seen over the years. Lingcod, rock bass, halibut and many other species.
On our last day, another guest at the lodge caught a 52 pounds chinook which they released.
Our largest fish in the group was 44 pounds.
We stayed at the eagle lodge, which is a 12 persons lodge and has an amazing architecture and our private kitchen and hosting staff.
Again, an absolutely amazing venue and experience.
