The food was so fresh and tasty, with sizable portions. The best part was the view, but the food did not disappoint at all.

Watch the ferries go by in Active Pass, sit on the deck with lots of flower baskets for colour. The big deck almost ensures you will have a seat outside, but still best to go early or late. Umbrellas a must for the sun in mid day. Food is good, service is good, beverage list limited but good, view is great.

Still a great place for pub food. Excellent home made pies. Daily special goes beyond pub fare and is usually excellent. Rustic pub with great view of Active pass. Often get to see pod of Orcas passing by.

We had the pleasure of sitting out on the deck of the Springwater Lodge and Pub on Mayne island recently. It was a sunny evening and the view was amazing!

The staff were extremely friendly (being local Mayne-ites, who appear universally infected with a happy demeanor) and the dinner special was very tasty!

You can reserve tables on the main deck outside, so think ahead when planning your evening here. The pub is located in Miner's Bay, which is the main bay in Active Pass, so is ideal for boaters looking for a dinner spot to pop into if they don't mind dodging the odd Spirit Class ferry.

The wildlife watching is also amazing and you have the opportunity to spot eagles, heron, seals, sea lions, and maybe the odd orca pod or larger whale if you are lucky.

Nice old place. Might be better to sit in the dining room off the front entrance (don't sit in main area with pool tables.). They are short of staff..and they are multi-tasking so you will get served but not quickly. Lunch was ok. 7/10. Staff was friendly.
