“Great picnic spot”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

Apart from the geological oddity of seeing a small lake when you turn your head one way, and Lake Ontario much, much further down when you turn your head another, there is not much to do here but take an (admittedly gorgeous) panoramic photo, and then maybe have a snack at one of the picnic tables. 15-30 minutes pretty much does it.

“Nice attraction”
Reviewed August 24, 2013 via mobile

Although there is a restaurant right next to this attraction, I will only comment on the attraction itself. Beautiful view of a natural anomaly. Parking is free but limited across the street. Only need a few minutes to take photos. Can see the ferry on the other side of the street. Don't need to go back.

“Interesting place. Decent food.”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

Overall good quality experience. But the location itself, overlooking both the Lake on the Mountain on one side, and the Bay of Quinte (Lake Ontario) 50ft below on the other. An amazing feat of nature, the lake is literally at the top of the hill (...mountain).

While the view is a huge part of the experience, the restaurant itself is definitely very good.

“Beautiful views”

Could see the ferry and Picton Bay from up on the mountain. Lake on both side of the street. Scenic drive and easy to get to. Wineries along the way.

“gorgeous”

It's amazing to see this body of water situated at the top of a mountain. Lots of picnic areas, so bring a lunch and blanket and enjoy the view.
