My husband and I stayed at Traditions in the fall while visiting family/touring around the county. I have stayed at other B and B's in the area, but none compare to this.
The breakfast was truly gourmet. Fresh fruit, homemade granola and yogurt to start, followed by a mushroom frittata that was to die for (Patti gave me a copy of the recipe before we left, and I have been impressing my family with it ever since).
Patti and Mike are exceptional hosts. They were warm and generous, while understanding of our privacy.
I have already booked a room for this February, and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the county!

My boyfriend and I had only one night here and both wished we had booked 2 nights and a 3rd night on our return route home. What a wonderful place! Best spot we stayed in throught out our entire weeks vacation. The back yard is so charming. with the pool and gardens. It has the best set up for a B and B I have experienced: The guest rooms are seperate from the main house and are connected with a wonderful breeze-way. There is a summer kitchen for you to enjoy adding convience if you want to keep cold drinks or make sandwiches or BBQ something for yourselves. Our hosts were wonderful. Mike has an extremely delightful sense of humour and Patti is as friendly, welcoming and kind as can be (as well as a terrific cook: we heard she is part of a gourmet cooking group and it shows). Breadfast was fresh fruit with yoghart and granola along with an upside down pear pancake covered with fresh blue berries and bacon on the side. Wonderful juices and a fresh pot of Joe to go along with this delicious food.. The whole space was extremely clean, private and very invitingly decorated. Lots of sun and a wonderful view of the pool/backyard from our window. We will definately be returning for a longer stay in the near future. Can't wait!!

My husband and I spent one fabuslous night at TRADITIONS and certainly wished we could have extended our time at this amazing B&B. We have stayed in a good number of other B&B's and what we liked a lot about this one was that the accomodation is separate from the main house.
Patti & Mike are a warm and welcoming couple who have mastered the art of making you feel comfortable immediately and then also let you enjoy privacy in their beautiful backyard. Surrounding the gorgeous pool is a gazebo and also a nice deck with bbq and table/chairs for guests to use. If we had not had dinner reservations already booked at "Blumen", we would have considered cooking there instead (but we give the restaurant 2 thumbs way up).
Our breakfast was delicious: yogurt, fresh fruit, banana bread and then pear pancake with peameal bacon ... YUM!
Location is very central to Picton's Main St. Lots of great walks minutes away.
We hope to make a yearly stay at this gem of a place.

My partner and I had a truly enjoyable experience during our stay at Traditions B&B. The food was delicious and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Patty and Mike made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend staying at Traditions for anybody coming to visit the county. We'll be back next year!

My husband and I stayed at Traditions in the king suite for one night. It was extremely comfortable with many amenities. Shower had plentiful hot water. Bed was a bit hard if you are used to pillow top mattress but lovely linens and towels in suite. Breakfast was absolutely superb, homemade granola, big bowl of fresh fruit, yogurt, homemade muffins and an excellent frittata with unlimited juice and coffee or tea. Patty and Mike are helpful, friendly hosts who understand guests still like their privacy and independence. Their home is separate from the two guest suites which is excellent and the suites are separate from each other so very quiet. Garden is lovely and b and b is easy walking distance to the main street with lots of cafes and restaurants. Would definitely stay here if we are down this way again.
