We stopped here on the recommendation of a gentleman we met on the beach who said we had to go and have the chowder. So we did. It was pretty much the only thing we could afford on the menu, but delicious. For the two of us, two soups, two coffees, and I think maybe a piece of garlic toast?, the bill was over thirty dollars. The ambience and decor are flawless. perfect beachfront location. No outside tables as it's too windy and wild at that point. Lovely. I would love to go back and spend more money.

Almost all options on their menu could be made gluten free as they had gluten free bread. This was very exciting for me to have eggs, sausage and TOAST! This was not ordinary eggs and sausage though as they are very careful in selecting free range, natural foods. The view of the beach is spectacular.

First to start. This restaurant is no longer in operation. The restaurant was operated under the Canadian Princess Resort. For the longest time, this was one of few high end restaurants that we had. The food was good, as with most of the high end restaurants out here the prices were a little high. The restaurant also displayed a variety of local first nation art. They say part of business is location, Location. You could not have picked a better one. But att he same time, it was a distance from Ucluelet. Unfortunatly there have been changes and Canadian Princess no longer operates the restaurant and neither does any one else. It just sits empty. THe interpretive center also attached to the location and operated by the Park. THat has undergone changed and is really nice to see. Too bad, it would be a good place to have a scaled down eatery of some type here as the location is one of the best.

We didn't stay at Wickaninnish but went there for drinks and snacks. The service was excellent, although pricey but "you get what you pay for!" The building is amazing as is the view.
