This was recommended to us, it's a lovely house and the menus is good. It was very busy and although cool we sat outside rather than wait for a table. Our seafood chowder failed to arrive, when it did turn up the waitress apologised but then immediately brought our our main courses. So these were getting cold while we had our soup. The soup was excellent. However apart from being rather cold our main courses were disappointing and the filling for my baked potato ended up mostly on the table and my husbands pasta. My seafood was great, but the veg was icy, The pasta was a bit over creamy and stodgy. We opted for desert because we only ate half the mains. Sadly these were not much better, over large , very stodgy and the crumble was overwhelmingly cinnamon flavoured so the fruit didn't taste of anything. Maybe just a bad day, I'd not have dinner here again, but I would go for chowder at lunch time.
