My husband and I are frequent visitors to Ucluelet and and almost always have a meal or two at this establishment as it is convenient to our accommodation. The food, although not outstanding in flavour, quality, or presentation, is adequate and the prices are fair. Our last meal there, however, convinced us that we will likely never eat there again. We both ordered the beef dip and fries. It arrived lukewarm; although the roast beef was carved from a roast as opposed to deli beef, it was thickly sliced and sandwiched between what seemed like a hot dog sized section of a freezer take and bake loaf which had somehow been forgotten to be baked. It was meat and parcooked bread - no condiments whatsoever to help ease the swallowing process. The fries seemed like they were recycled - greasy, chewy, and without flavor.
The upside of our experience was the excellent attention from our server Claudia, who is an excellent ambassador for the town and an asset to the business.
