I've stayed here twice now, Feb 2007 & Aug 2009. The first time we rented a studio cottage type A. We got the 3 nights for the price of 2 deal, which is a great deal!

The second time we rented studio cottage type C with a hot tub and loft. The only difference between the two was the loft and hot tub on the deck. The size and layout were the same.
The hot tub was out on the front deck, some might not like this but since we only used it at night & did not have anyone next to us it was not a big deal.

This place is very pet friendly. They provide a dog towel and treat. They also have a dog wash area but I have not used it.

Both units had a kitchen with full size stove and fridge, along with a dishwasher & microwave. Small bathroom but it has a full size jetted tub.

The staff have always been super friendly and helpful. I just called to ask about something I saw on one of the reviews, "Hidden Gem" "An amazing breakfast served every morning combined with hospitality beyond belief!" I did not think breakfast was served so I called to confirm & no it is not included (and they do not have any restaurants on site). However the lady I spoke with informed me of a new place that just opened in town that is great for breakfast. Once again I received great customer service.

The only downsides are:
1. The cottages are very close together. We have been lucky each time to not have anyone on either side of us but I could see it being a problem for some if you did.
2. The cleanliness overall is not the best. I have not run into anything worth complaining to the front desk about, however I've noticed a few things here and there both times.
3. They are not waterfront but really its not that big of a deal. The value makes up for it.

Overall you really get great value for your money here. You really can't beat the 3 for 2 or the 5 for 3 deal. We have been going to Tofino for years now, always staying at Long Beach Lodge but due to the very poor customer service at LBL we have now moved our business to Reef Point. Not only are we getting better service we will be saving a fair amount of money.

On a side note I would not recommend this place to anyone on a honeymoon. Its more of a stay here for a great deal and spend your time out exploring kind of place.

Thanks Reef Point, we are looking forward to our next stay with you.

We recently stayed two nights in August. Was to pay $400 Australian per night for a two bedroom cottage. Was delayed by roadworks so arrived after reception closed. Access has arranged and we were appreciative of this as our mobile had no coverage on the way to advise we would eb late. However- on arrival when we checked the cottage the king bed was supposed to have been split into two singles - not done. Cottage was very dirty and sheets had fluff balls over over them - not even ironed and were greay!!!- clearly a pet friendly unit. Could not get hold of managers until approx 9.45. When we did they came over and exchanged keys for the unit next door. Moved to this cottage - the sheets were cleaned ( not ironed)unit was even worse, the microwave and fridge had leftovers from the last guest, tomato sauce everywhere - curtains the lot, bath and showers had to be cleaned before use as did dishes - ash found in glasses. The young lady at reception was lovely the next day and said she would send a cleaner in (which she did). Would not take payment ( unitl we were to leave)as wanted to make sure we were happy. The cleaner did next to nothing other than have the curtain washed and put back up (not ironed and had shrunk). On leaving the receptionist advised that they did not iron bedding so the crumpled look was normal! Also advised they had huge cleaning issues( which we knew) and apologised. Said they would not charge us for the stay however we advised we would pay for one night which was $400.00. On the up side the position was lovely, hot tub was very clean , BBQ clean and we felt it did did look as depicted in the brochures, and the receptionist was a lovely young lady who was very honest. Cottages great for a family and were well appointed. Maybe we just struck a bad run!!!

A bunch of friends and I came from Australia to see BC and Vancouver. Never really expected to get out to the Island (surfing in Tofino doesn't really compare to home) . But very glad we did.

RPC was an awesome little hideaway. Some people have said here that they had to walk to the beach, but so what? Its a nice walk through the trees and the view out from the beach is pretty wonderful, especially for those West Coast sunsets.

Ohhhhh the 2 best things for us were:

The hottub! Such a good addition. We sat out there for hours chatting.
Also, our cousin who lives in Vancouver was able to bring her dogs and it was no problem.

We even took them on a couple of hikes and things which are really close by. And there's parking right next to your cabin so you don't have to lug your stuff to and from the carpark. Really really convenient, especially for us.

Hope to be back some day guys!!

Although we only stayed 3 nights in late June, it was wonderful. The 2-bedroom cottage we rented was very well equiped with comfortable beds and 2 bathrooms. The hot tub on the deck was a welcome relief after a day of hiking. The two-level cottage was clean. One bedroom overlooked the driveway but was equipped with it's own tv. The other bedroom had a balcony overlooking an outlet which you barely saw through the lovely trees.

The units are unfortunately very close to each other, although this was not a problem for us staying in June (off season) but be aware of the potential of having some loud neighbours. The cottages were a short walk to the Wild Pacific Trail which is absolutely worth visiting!!
