This facility is the primary information centre for the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. If you are a first-time visitor, your stop here will provide you with everything you need to know about the Park and surrounding area, including the towns of Ucluelet and Tofino. Because conditions such as the ocean/beach/forest environments, wildlife sightings, park regulations etc, return visitors should make the stop too, as the Pacific Rim Visitor Centre provides frequent updates on these conditions. The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful, and have a wealth of knowledge about the area.
We always purchase our park pass here, for the duration of our stay. This way we avoid having to pay each time we visit a different section of the park.
