“A part of paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014

This charming place is truly where you can find deep relaxation and inner peace.
On a quiet peninsula the appartments provide enough room to enjoy the peaceful view on the Pacific ocean.
A jacuzzi on the porch is the ultimate thing to relax and forget about everyday's troubles.

Room Tip: Book a Luxury Room with jacuzzi included!

A long but beautiful drive to Ucluelet. Hard to find the Hotel, until we stopped at neighboring Petro Can station, got directions. The room itself, was nice, and adequately supplied. The shower head was weak... but hot tub was nice. It advertises 'wifi', but it never worked for us the 2 nights we stayed. The pull out sofa bed, was very uncomfortable!

The long drive here is well worth it. Beautiful scenery on route & fantastic destination. We had a 2 bedroom suite on the second floor, overlooking the ocean. It was lovely, clean & well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. In the morning we explored the shoreline, the beach was just in front of our hotel. We saw eagles, seals, sea stars, crabs & lots of other sea life. Be sure to have a meal at Romans Pizza & the Blue Room Cafe in Ucluelet, they are both winners. Romans delivers to Water's Edge!

This was my second stay at the Water's Edge Resort. I was in a third floor room in building 8. (This could be a challenge if you have a hard time with stairs, as there was one flight to the second floor exterior door and another flight inside the suite.) I really enjoyed the suite, which included a full kitchen, dining table, and living room in an open concept design as well as the bathroom and bedroom. I didn't have a chance to make use of the kitchen. My view was of the Ucluelet Harbour, with plenty of boats to watch. I made use of the large Jacuzzi tub on the private patio, and the gas fireplace in the living room to relax at the end of my work day. The front desk service was very friendly and helpful, although not particularly fast. And if you're into geocaching, there was lots of information available at geocaching in the Ucluelet are available at the front desk. There was noise from the overnight wind storm, but I expect there weren't many quiet places in town that night!

We were told that the only rooms left were the suites, yet she offered us the web price which gave us a discount of 20% for the first day and 30% for the second day. We were cautious due to some of the reviews we had read online so we stayed one night before committing to the second night.
We were lucky enough to see the sea lions and an eagle that visited daily. Dianne who was available the morning after we checked in was very helpful, gave us ideas of where to venture as well as the rain gear that was available for free to use. There are lots of stairs, yet the unit was clean and we cooked fresh crab dinner and enjoyed the use of the full kitchen. We did not use the soaker tub on the balcony, to cold for use.

We booked with BC Ferries Vacation. Wasn't sure what to expect but was quite happy with location and size of the unit. New appliances and a jacuzzi tub on the deck. All we were missing was seeing some wildlife which we could hear Seals in the distance from our deck.

This was supposed to be a fine getaway for my wife and me.
The room was in poor repair and was not very clean....still had pubic hair in the shower (gross).
The amenities (kitchen equipment) was also in poor repair and we had to "make do" with what was there - frustrating.
They are pet friendly but charge a lot of money for the privilege of brining fido along.
Never again.

Room Tip: Each of these is privately owned. My review might not reflect the state of every possible option...
