This was a large suite - separate bedroom/living room and full kitchen. It is located right on the inner harbour in Ucluelet, BC. Very quiet (except for barking seal!) ad It is very peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back soon. Walking rails are near by.

I was lucky enough to stay at the WatersEdge Resort this weekend in Ucluelet, BC. What a beautiful place! So incredibly peaceful except the one morning where I was woken by a seal...which was pretty cool!

I was upgraded to a 2 bdrm suite, as they had made a little mistake with my booking. She was extremely pleasant, and really didn't need to do that, but it was so that I could have a jacuzzi tub that worked... that by the way, is on the deck, over looking the inlet.

The suite was huge! With a full kitchen, lots of storage and 2 bathrooms, both equipped with tubs and showers. And a fireplace. Comfortable living area, that again, the views were stunning.

I would highly recommend this place, especially if you're looking to unwind and not be disturbed. Also, I was able to book through expedia and the lady told me that they will match any price you see on there, which I'm guessing helps them out more!

What a beautiful place, would be perfect for families as it's easy to walk to Ucluelet from there. They offer free kayak/board rentals and also WIFI, which can be hard to get in some of the Ucluelet Hotels.

Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We stayed at Waters Edge Resort for two nights while passing through Ucluelet. It was not a long enough stay. Situated on its own private little island this resort is very relaxing and beautiful. The small trails around the island make for a pleasant light walk and the beach is small but lovely. We took the sea kayaks out one evening and enjoyed investigating the small ship wreck not far from the beach. Our room was very large and well kept. Overall we had a great stay and intend on returning for a longer period of time.

We stayed at this resort on a Groupon purchase. For the money we paid, the stay was reasonable.

We had reserved a unit on the third floor with an inlet view, but when we arrived we were told none were available. Luckily, we were able to get an upgrade to a larger unit that was on the third floor with the view we wanted (we were on our honeymoon).

The unit's decor/furnishings are average - the walls were stark white, but with some artwork; the tv was an older model (not flat screen), but had a dvd player. There were dvd's, books, and board games to borrow from the reception lobby, which was nice.

We had a private balcony with a jetted tub that was very nice, and we even got to see a bald eagle in the tree across from us one evening, and some river otters swimming out front! If you're looking for privacy/nature, we definitely recommend the inlet view over the harbour view.

The kitchen has a full size stove and fridge, and is well-stocked with pots/pans, utensils, and a spice rack. Only one tea bag and two coffee packs were provided, so we had to ask for more for our 4-night stay.

The bed was very comfortable, with thick sheets and comforter. The fireplace was also great, and was connected to a thermostat so you could set it to shut off before overheating the suite.

Overall, a nice stay. The white walls and furniture left it feeling a bit stark, with not quite the "homey" feel you would get from higher-end accommodations, but we still had a great time! Would be great for large families or groups of friends, too.

Undoubtedly amazing place. Amidst the wildlife and overlooking the inlet. Spacious luxury suite with comfortable beds, bathrooms and kitchen, ideal for kids(just watch the stairs). Nice jetted tub on the balcony.

Stayed for two nights in a luxury suite with my husband and our toddler. One-bedroom suite was warm and inviting, tastefully furnished and stocked. We sprung for the jetted tub and enjoyed a warm dip late at night after our tyke was asleep. It felt like a proper condo one could live in for a while, as opposed to a "suite with kitchen". One thing: this is a self-contained unit and there is no maid service or amenities like a pool, etc. But we were OK with that. We were sad to leave.

Room Tip: If you'll use it, pay the extra $20 for the tub. Why not?

We spent two days at the Waters Edge Resort in early May. It's not overly fancy but the pictures are very representative of what you will find there. The suite was very clean and we really enjoyed the candles and cozy fireplace along with complimentary DVD's in the evenings. Contrary to other reviews, there was plenty of hot water for the outdoor hot tub (although the motor was very loud). The bed was comfortable and every room has a water view. We were pleased with the accommodations, and the fact that we could bring our dog with us was an extra bonus. We were originally told that it would cost an extra $30 per night for the dog but, when we checked out, they only charged us $30 total for the two nights. We felt it was good value for the price. The drive to Tofino takes about 1/2 to 3/4 hr and you have the opportunity to see a number of beaches on the way there. They are all well marked and there's lots of parking at each spot with beautiful walking trails.
