We spent 3 nights at the Snug Harbour Inn. Despite we had not very good weather we enjoyed our stay very much. We made a lot of hikes and had the chance to see bears catching salmons. Highlight! The room was so beautiful, with our own fire place, the wonderful view, brandnew bathroom. And of course Sue's breakfast and her cakes were delices. We also estimated her recommendations very much.

Room Tip: We had the Atlantis room. Wonderful view!

We visited the Snug Harbour Inn for four nights. We were looking to relax as well as do a little hiking and exploring. We wanted to spoil ourselves and we feel that we really succeeded. We had a wonderful view of the ocean from our room where we sat by the fire before enjoying the hot tub. Sue prepared wonderful breakfasts and provided desserts for whenever the mood struck.

Room Tip: Ocean view

We stayed at A Snug Harbour Inn for 5 nights. Sue and Drew were amazing hosts. Breakfasts were superb and the daily fresh baked treats were the perfect treat after exploring the area. The views are 'Awesome'. All of Sue's recommendations for meals and activities were spot on. (We are still craving fish tacos and the fish and chips). This is the most beautiful setting we have ever stayed in. Anyone who makes it out to the west coast of the island should stay here.

Room Tip: Room was amazing, bed and linens the best

We just visited A Snug Harbour Inn last weekend, for a much-needed getaway. It was EXACTLY what we were looking for, and in just two days, all our stress disappeared. Our stay was perfect, and even the weather cooperated - providing us with everything you might hope for from the Pacific coast - stormy seas, thick fog, brilliant sunshine, and misty rain. The inn is just gorgeous, with a very welcoming Great Room and sitting area, as well as freshly-baked cake, and coffee and tea service available all day. Our room (the Sawadee) was beautifully appointed, with an ultra-comfy bed, double-sided fireplace, thoughtful amenities, luxury bathroom, and best of all for us, a private deck to sit and enjoy the view with a glass of wine.

We fell into instant holiday mode there, thanks to the owners, Sue and Drew, who were exceptionally warm, welcoming and helpful with suggestions for dining out and sightseeing. Sue is a wonderful cook, and her breakfasts each morning were fabulous.

We went out to Tofino one day for lunch, and strolled a few of the amazing beaches in the area between the two towns. it is a surreal experience to walk along a foggy beach, with the outlines of surfers just visible through the mist, dozens of shore birds skittering and the background noise of waves crashing and a distant foghorn every few minutes. We live on the east side of Vancouver Island, and feel fortunate to live by the ocean, but the contrast between the protected Straits of Georgia and the wide-open Pacific is tremendous.

There is so much to do in the Ucluelet area that we could happily have spent the entire time there. The hiking along the Wild Pacific Trail is outstanding, and the town itself is very appealing. As well we went bear-watching at the nearby fish hatchery, which was a huge thrill as we saw one yearling on the road and two bears right in the creek at the base of the waterfall, catching salmon. The ability to see wildlife in their own habitat is heart-stopping. Sue told us there was a wolf in their neighbourhood recently that everyone had seen, except for her! Everything - the beauty of the natural surroundings, the beauty of our inn and the hospitality of our hosts made for an exceptional stay. We will definitely be back.

Lucky us - we stayed for 3 days in the Sawadee room. Yes, Sue's breakfasts are yummy, the inn's young German Shepherd is adorable, it's quiet and private, the room is beautifully appointed, bed very comfy. The best part for us was sitting on our balcony looking through the trees, across the bay, watching the birds and tide, and at night drinking wine wrapped up in a blanket, gazing at the stars. Ucluelet is small, simple, and gorgeous. This is a great place to escape from the rat race!

Room Tip: The Sawadee is a King room, w/huge 2 person tub that shares a fireplace with the main room.

My wife and I just finished staying at the Snug Harbour Inn for three nights. The inn is beautiful, well located and run by a wonderful couple named Sue and Drew. It is difficult to believe that there is a better place to stay in this area. The inn is kept immaculate, the breakfasts are well done and Sue is a wonderful hosts who couldn't do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
This is as nice a place to stay as one can ever find in any location wherever your travels may take you!!!!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Atlantis room which is beautiful.

My wife and I just got back from our honeymoon in Ucluelet. We absolutely loved A Snug Harbour Inn. Sue and Drew made us feel so welcome and comfortable at the inn. Everything was extremely clean and well kept, and we were provided everything we needed. We stayed in the Atlantis room and loved the view, giant bath tub, rain shower head and fireplace. Standing outside on our deck every night looking at the stars was truly magical. Sue's cooking every morning was amazing and getting to sit down and visit with the other guests was great. We found that we weren't even very hungry for the rest of the day because Sue's breakfasts were so delicious and nourishing. I could go on and on about the things we loved about A Snug Harbour and Vancouver Island as a whole. We're already planning our return visit and would recommend this wonderful B&B to anyone.

Room Tip: The Atlantis room has a great view, private deck, and awesome bathroom. BEAUTIFUL view every morning...
