He Tin Kis Lodge was the perfect retreat and recharge. It feels bright and clean inside, cozy and fresh. Well-appointed, everything felt new and very tasteful, big modern bathroom, spacious balcony/deck, and the beds! I can't recall the last time I slept so well. Friendly, hospitable and discreet hosts. We felt welcome and never crowded. A few stairs down to one of the west coast's beautiful tiny coves, and the open ocean in view a few yards away. I watched the waves smashing into a little island and I was glad for the forest and sheltered cove right in front of the lodge.
One afternoon we bought Dungeness crab in Ucluelet for a great beach feast.
We went for Ucluelet for better value in accommodations. and were very happy with the Tin Kis Lodge,
