“Great trip”
Reviewed September 10, 2013

We did the 4 day Broken Islands trip. Even with one day of rain we had a great time. The pace of the kayaking was perfect. Not too demanding but still with enough adventure and sense of accomplishment. The whole process from booking to outfitting to turn in was first rate. Excellent equipment and guides. Jeff and his assistant worked hard to make it easy on the rest of us. They were engaging and friendly.

Alas, we did not see a lot of wildlife but, in spite of that, we would definitely recommend this to our friends.

We stayed at the on-site B&B. Not only was it convenient but also it was a wonderful room with a perfect breakfast!

“Four days in paradise!”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

l recently completed a four-day kayak trip through the Broken Group Islands. Majestic made the entire experience a pleasure! From booking right through to my departure, they were organized, professional and friendly. Everything was well prepared and all the equipment was high quality. Our guides (Jeremy and Phil) were extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. They worked very hard so we could all relax and enjoy the experience. Their positive attitude kept everyone pumped and upbeat (in spite of the rough weather we had on our first day). The scenery was incredible, the wildlife was plentiful, the meals were fabulous and a good time was had by everyone in our group. I would highly recommend any of Majestic's trips and I'm looking forward to returning some time soon.

“Just as awesome, the second time around”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

Did two tours with Majestic on this trip. It was great that when I stopped by, both the owners and the office staff remembered me.

My first tour was of Ucluelet Harbour. Our guide, Jeremy, took us out into the harbour and we learned a little bit about the shipwrecks in the area, why Ucluelet was a "safe harbour", and saw some wildlife. Sea Lions, harbour seals, a bald eagle, and starfish were the highlights.

The second tour was the Broken Group Islands Day Trip and I highly recommend it! It starts off with a motorboat ride to the Broken Group Islands, which is really more of a whale watching tour. We first stopped at a sea lion colony.. but then we actually saw it. "A Whale with a Tail" as Captain Gary coins it. The tour was pretty full service... Our guide was Jeremy again and he basically did all the heavy lifting... After we got setup in our boats, we went for a tour through the gorgeous islands. Wildlife included Harbour seals, bald eagles, starfish, kingfishers, various types of oysters / clams, jellyfish. We also got to go through some really cool areas like the Dempster Squeeze and The Hobbit Hole. Lunch was included on the tour and the food was really good and very filling. We learned a lot about the First Nations people in the area and their history during the tour as well. At the end of the day, we got back onto the motorboat and went for another whale watching ride again.

Can't have asked for anything more. Well, except maybe more cookies for lunch.

“Excellent trip!”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

I booked a group of 10 people in for sea kayaking. Everyone loved it - even though it was raining for half of the day. The tourguides were great! - They were knowledgeable, fun and very flexible with our group. Lunch was incredibly delicious under our sheltered tarp. Loved all of it! Highly recommend this company!

“Great first time kayaking experience”
Reviewed August 28, 2013 via mobile

Me and my girlfriend both had a great first time kayaking with Majestic. From the moment we walked in, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We did the harbour tour and it was our guide's first time doing a solo tour. We found him very knowledgeable and fun to chat with. I would recommend Majestic to others looking to kayak.
