“Best food in the west!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 4, 2010

We found this restaurant by accident as we were hiking along the Wild Pacific Trail. It is located in the one year new Black Rock Resort. We enjoyed a delicious lunch while sitting at a table overlooking the glorious ocean waves. The service was excellent and prices were reasonable. We were so hooked that we dined there each afternoon, traveling from Tofino. Every dish we tried pleased us. No matter how full you are after the main course, don't pass up the decadent chocolate tart with homemade white chocolate ice cream for dessert.

“Style over substance”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 22, 2009

The daytime views make it worth a visit, but after dark only reflections can be seen - what a pity! The food is well presented but not as tasty as one would expect. The staff are very attentive and very friendly.

“memorable meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2009

I had a chili infused Caesar in the ocean view bar. It was so good! I wished I could have one right now,
We moved over to the restaurant, and I ordered the fixed menu dinner-sable fish, served with a sushi appetizer (the rice wasn't flavored as I am accustomed to), for dessert, blackberry sorbet served with a butter crusted tart filled with custard and fresh raspberries and blueberries. My husband devoured his meal of halibut, new potatos, and veg.

“Stunning - from the food, to the decor, to the view!!! Spectacular.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 20, 2009

The chef of Fetch, Black Rock Oceanfront Resort's restaurant, came from the Wickininish restaurant 30 minutes away which was world renowned for it's food and had a Relais and Chateau rating. His tradition of amazing food continues, that's for sure. We consider ourselves lovers of great food and my wife worked in catering at the Vancouver Four Seasons Hotel and boutique Metropolitan Hotel, both having critically acclaimed chefs and restaurants. Jenn actually found she knew two of the sous chefs from the 4 Seasons and Met who had moved from Vancouver to work at Fetch. So the restaurant definitely has quality chefs. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner here more than once and each meal was incredible, some of the best we'd ever eaten. The price as well was far better than restaurants of this calibre in Vancouver which made it even better. I highly recommend this restaurant.
