“Not worth your time”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 14, 2013

This resort with a five star restaurant inside it is albeit a very nice setting ,but not worth the loooong waits to receive cold food and high prices. We were dining with a family of five and it was just breakfast and a bowl of chowder not hard to put together ,we waited over an hour from sit down to seeing a plate of food. Very disappointing and embarrassing to our dining guests. The presentation was fine but again it was breakfast and a bowl of soup,my son had fish and chips and what a greasy letdown,we left without finishing the meal, and left 123.00 lighter, not sure if we would go back, doubtful, there is more restaurants with just as nice vistas.

“Friendly staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013

There were gluten free options that were delicious. There was a lot of flavour and care put into the dishes. The selection was not overwhelming but had enough of a variety to dine there more than once. I felt that the server really was knowledgable about the area and recommended fun activities locally.

“Fine fine dining”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013

Charcouterie plate - all delicious with the paté being a highlight.
Main courses were the beef filet and the scallops and clams with udon noodles. Both were excellent. Service was just right - friendly, attentive and efficient. Everything to like, nothing to dislike.

“The chowder is worth a lunch visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2013 via mobile

We're staying at the resort for a wedding. Breakfast was very accommodating: potatoes with the eggs Bennie were substituted with a lovely fresh fruit salad and the holland aide was served in the side by request. Serving staff deserve a 5 star customer service award. We decided to have lunch here as we'll following a walk on the lighthouse loop. The seafood chowder is excellent. Little wonder it had won awards. Do try Fetch for lunch. The views are stunning, the service excellent, and the chowder superb.

“Limited menu; tasted like cardboard”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2013

5 entrees on the menu - not a lot to choose from especially if you have allergies, restrictions or dislikes! Ordered the salmon and quinoa which came well presented, well prepared, but had zero flavour. Server offered to comp. it, but felt uncomfortable with that because nothing was actually wrong per se. Just very turned off by such a limited menu and then to receive a meal that makes hospital food seem flavourful in comparison. Not worth the price in my opinion - just my opinion though!
