My husband and I flew to Tofino for our anniversary weekend. We of course of heard of the Wik Inn and others but chose Black Rock .... I am sooo glad we did. The resort of architecturally stunning, the room we had (#315) had a view and a patio to die for, overlooking the beautiful black rocks and crashing ocean. The fell asleep and awoke to the ocean waves ... heaven. Every staff member we interacted with was pleasant and went above and beyond for us. We did not want to leave and will be back. Thamk you Black Rock for making our 3rd anniversary one to remember.

Very well appointed, room with a great view. Very relaxing and quiet location. The suites were spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. Bottles of wine with well outfitted kitchenette with convection oven/microwave makes for great welcome and flexbility. We had great views of the ocean to wake up to each morning.

...service is classy, yet laid back and friendly still professional and efficient. The bed was very comfortable with great sheets. As I said before, the room is well appointed; in the theme of black rock, the countertops are all black granite (?) in kitchen and bathroom with black tile flooring in entry and bathroom. Heated tiles in bathroom make it a real win! Spacious classy bathroom with HUGE soaker tub and amazing rainfall shower (all with a view to the huge flatscreen tv - through a glass partition).

The customer service by the front desk staff at check-in was exceptional, and made us feel welcomed and valued. In addition, the guest services manager handled our reservations with a touch of class. Our accommodations were top notch, with all the comforts of home. The location of the hotel is in a nice serene quiet area, away from all the hustle and bustle.

The food & service in the "Fetch" restaurant is outstanding with views of the eagles soaring around and the occasional sea lion if your lucky! The "Float" lounge is a relaxing environment also with great views and bartenders that know their drinks and have a personality! Didn't get a chance to check out the spa, but friends of ours have and rave about it!

All around, my wife and myself, as well as our friends agree that we will definitely come back and stay at the Black Rock Resort for our next visit to Ucluelet!

Way to Black Rock Resort on creating a classy, relaxing West Coast vacation spot!

The details where perfects in the room from heated floors in the bathroom, to the huge shower, to the very comfortable bed, it was great! The views of the ocean were stunning, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We highly highly recommened this for your next family or romantic getaway!!!

The Black Rock Oceanfront Resort is a wonderful place to stay, Its a mix of luxury, comfort and west coast living. The rooms are beautiful and clean with great views of the west coast wilderness or ocean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. it was wonderful to stay in such a beautiful hotel with our dog, who loved the trails surrounding the resort. It is situated on the perfect spot for hiking, or storm watching from the magnificent views in the restaurant. which has the most amazing scallops on the menue.
The Bathrooms in the room are beautiful and the full size soaker tub is luxury.
I really licked all the different light fixtures that they used down in the lobby, resembling ocean life.
Ucluelet is a great little town, and black rock is The Place to stay when your there.
we will definitely spoil ourselves again soon with a stay at black rock.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Black Rock. They were very accommodating to our two dogs, even providing dog beds and dishes! We enjoyed some of the many great places to take our dogs in Ucluelet, the beaches and hiking trails were awesome. When it rained we enjoyed movies in our fantastic suite. Great breakfast in the restaurant and the veiw of the ocean was unlike anything Ive ever seen. I cant wait to go back!
