“Wonderful experience with an amazing humpback whale performance!”
Reviewed October 8, 2010

Highly recommended trip! We spent wonderful hours on the luxury yacht of Toddy and Al, who were amazing. It is a trip with not too many people so you feel like a big family and easily share the experiences with the passengers. Toddy and Al make you feel very comfortable on the boat and all information is interesting and delivered with lots of humor. You get to see stunning views - great to take thousands of pictures and the highlight with us (apart from seals and eagles) were 2 Humpback whales who after a while decided they would give us the "whole" show by jumping and throwing themselves into the water. All of us were stunned. We even stayed almost an hour longer on the trip as we only got to see them on our way back. Thanks Toddy and Al for such an amazing and unforgettable experience. “Despite the mist we had a fantastic day”
Reviewed October 4, 2010

Their home is their palace but Toddy and Al welcome you aboard with warmth as though you were their personal guest. Their local knowledge is second to none as they both spend many years prawn fishing the area before they started this wonderful cruise business. It is expensive but worth every penny. The day we departed they postponed the cruise for 4 hours as there was an all enveloping mist. By 1300 the mist seemed to have disappeared but as we motored out through the Broken Islands the mist descended again. Despite this we saw bald eagles, sea lions, several types of seals and some humped back whales. One of my main reasons going on the cruise was to give a friend a birthday treat and to see bears. My friend love the trip, the lunch in a beautiful sunny spot and some bubbly but alas no bears. So on the way home Al gave us clear directions where we could see bears for sure about 8 kms outside Ucluelet. The following morning we followed his directions and spend two hours watching 3 bears catch and eat salmon for breakfast!
I would highly recommend this trip to anyone.

“Archipelago Wildlife Cruises... and friends!”
Reviewed October 2, 2010

My husband and I, along with another couple celebrating their anniversary, went on this cruise. To start off with, Toddy and Al live on this yacht and they immediately welcome you to their home. That set the mood of the trip...it was like visiting friends and they treated us like royalty. I can't remember when we have had such a good time...so much so that all four of us will be "visiting" Toddy and Al again in May for our anniversary, when the orca's will be around.

Our every comfort was seen to, and yes, we saw whales, sea lions, seals, eagles, and a bear. NO aquarium could compare to seeing all of these wonderful animals in their natural habitiat. Al and Toddy were able to get us close enough for an excellent view and to take photos, while at the same time respecting the wildlife and not disturbing them.

They found a tranquil area nestled among some islands, and it was here we anchored for lunch. When they say gourmet lunch, they are not kidding! It was fabulous. Our friends got a special surprise for their anniversary, but I won't spoil the surprise for anyone else who plans to celebrate their special day in this way. Toddy and Al are a class act!

Five hours with this wonderful couple "in their home" just flew by, and if you ever get the opportunity to take their cruise....you MUST! I know we will be back.

“Fabulous cruise through the Broken Islands”
Reviewed September 29, 2010

The Broken Island Wildlife cruise was an informative day spent on board a very comfortable yacht. The hours passed quickly as we cruised amongst the many islands, stopping to see bears, eagles, seals, sea lions and whales. Our hosts, Alan and Toddy, were both very knowledgeable of the area and the wildlife. For our gourmet lunch, we were moored in a lovely cove. This is a not to be missed attraction while in the area.

“Fantastic day out amongst the wildlife”
Reviewed September 27, 2010

Cruised around Ucluelet and the Broken Group Islands on a lovely, spacious yacht. Make sure to bring a camera as we saw many wildlife including 7 whales, bald eagles, numerous seal lions and seals and a black bear. The scenery was spectacular even though the weather was terrible for the morning. The boat was well prepared for these condition with free blankets and rain jackets. As the weather fined up for lunch everyone found a place outside in the sun and enjoyed the delicious meals various choices were available including locally caught salmon and a great vegetarian option. The two host were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Would defiantly recommend this tour to anyone.
