“Try the Szechwan Dish”
Reviewed January 10, 2012

As the title says..the Szechwan dish was spicy hot and the perfect accompaniment was the beer...
Not bad eats..

“...or not...”
Reviewed November 27, 2010

I am chuckling reviewing the review posted on the Navigator food from last year. I see the poster has one post and it seems rather over the top for one of the worst places in Iqaluit to eat. The food there is mostly awful, but the Chinese can be passable. Good food can be had at the Water's Edge, the Frobisher Inn and the Discovery Lodge (in that order). I have been forced to eat at the "Nav" a few times by invite or circumstance and it is truly and consistantly bad....

“Chinese Lunch Buffet”
Reviewed June 28, 2009

If you like fried Chinese Food you'll enjoy the Nav. Most things on the menu are quickly prepared. We usually go here on spur of the moment since the children get a variety of fried eats to choose from that they normally don't get and there is some treats for mom and dad on the menu to choose from. The Wor Won Ton soup is pretty good. If you are looking for elegance or romance or presentation and not so much fried food than try one of the other places in town.
